I bought one, but don't have the vehicle yet to test it out. However, the online reviews said it will flop over with the power seats as you raise them. I'm pretty sure they will because they are lighter than I expected. Lighter than the flat rubber liners I had originally ordered and then didn't like.
The WT liner came rolled in a box, and easily rolls or folds over. If you need to put something in back, you could use a large binder clip to secure it flat if need be. The booklet said that you can do that (fold it over), but not regularly, to avoid warping the fit. I also bought the small liner for times when I plan to use the 3rd row. But I like that I can flop it over if I unexpectedly need to use the back row.

I've got it and you can flip the seats back and it will fold/roll by itself. I will say that it's not ideal only because if you need to throw something behind the 3rd row, then you have this thing in the way. I also just purchased the mat for behind the 3rd row just in case for those times when I need the seats up and need something there. A little much money for what it was, but it's good to have.

We've had Canvasback Cargo Liners which are nylon and attach by velcro allowing us to put one or both 3rd row seats up without a hitch. Love 'em.

Sorry, never saw this reply. I ordered mine directly from www.weathertech.com
I am now thinking I like the Canvasback liner better now that I have seen the pictures. More functional especially when raising only 1 3rd row seat but still having the option for it to be covered.

Hi Jlarew- have you had any issues with your Canvasback liners on the '13 or 14 GL's? Says that they have some new velcro or something and someone else mentioned glue getting on the carpet. Wondering how much you love them and do they wipe right up? Does stuff slide around?
Thanks!
Thanks!
For the x166, MB changed the carpet and the clingy portion no longer hooks into it. So you have to stick the non-clingy velcro onto the carpet. It has a glue on the back of it and is supplied by canvasback, so no need to purchase anything.
I don't ever pull up my canvasback since there's not need, but I did take my GL350 in for detailing last November at my dealer, and they removed it to clean the carpet. The non-clingy part stuck to the carpet just fine. I have black carpet and black velcro, so it wasn't too noticeable, but that's the only time I've actually see it after I installed it. I do have to say, I wouldn't want to have to remove that velcro, for fear of leaving a mess, but I'm not sure why you'd want to. I should mention I have the lockable storage in the back by the spare, and I haven't used it because the canvasback covers it.
In terms of functionality, I really like them. They keep the dirt off the carpet and sweep out nicely. Think of them as a canvas rug, so not much sticks to them. I clean them usually by vacuuming or if there's mud stuck to them using a brush (sometimes I just use my snow brush). They aren't good for liquid since there are open edges for it to soak through/around. I haven't had an issue with things sliding anymore than expected.

I can comment on my experience. For the x164 the clingy portion of the velcro was on the canvasback, and it hooked nicely into the carpet of the X164. It was excellent.
