I think that he was expecting it somewhere like in the internet radio.... It isn't there like in some other cars.
Yes.. You can hook your IPhone and run it via the blue tooth, the headphone jack... But I don't believe that you can control the pandora system directly through the interface.. Also it won't utilize the d to a converter that is used when you pull music from iTunes on the phone or itouch.
My friend's Lexus will control it via the interface in the car utilizing the phone giving you full access to the stations and other pandora functions.

It would have to be an on board program and by representation of the existing MB apps...it would suck. A Subaru probably has a better suite of programs.
The internet radio takes so long to engage that you are pulling into Home Depot about the time it comes on.... Just plain embarrassing.
The one thing that works well is the on board hard drive where you can burn CDs directly to. Haven't tried putting music on an SD card yet....but I suspect it might work well too. I will say that the Hk system sounds pretty good.

Does your internet radio work? Mine has never worked and I've got a '14 350. It does take 5 min to load, but then says it can't connect or something.

A couple of comments:
1st - for "burning CD's to hard drive" - much faster/better to use PC/Mac to burn CD's to USB stock or SD card - faster and higher capacity - no one burns to headunit hard drive anymore. For iPeople you can choose to burn your iTunes to USB-stick/SD-card as well and not worry about your iPhone hookup - or pass your phone to the kids so they can play..
2nd - vehicle connectivity sucks as compared to smart-phone/web connectivity
New school - USB-sticks/SD-cards in front and iPads in back.. CD's-find old school 5.1's from key artists - and/or use DVD for audio tracks...
Keep the beat !

I'm the SD card type. I have an SD card that I use to hold all my music (either from ripping CD's or downloading). I then use my PC to copy that SD card to other SD cards for two of my cars, my wife's and my cellphone, my tablet, etc.
I find the COMAND unit does a decent job of working with your SD card music. I usually browse by album cover.
