Drive Kit Plus
Does anyone have any experience with "drive kit plus" accessory for displaying iPhone apps on Nav screen? The only reason I would get it is if it can display waze or google maps.

Gotta start writing what country you guys are referring to. This is an eye opener for me. I'm in the USA. Who's got knowledge of this? is this basically a chopped down version of the apple carplay?

It says see Availability if offered for your vehicle, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I emailed service. Also no word if works with iphone 6 or 6+.

2015 GL 550
My 2015 GL 550 was delivered with an iPhone interface cable to a custom port in the center console. The iPhone end of the cable is Apple's 'Lightning' connector so it connects to my iPhone 6 and it charges.

I installed the Mercedes-Benz Digital DriveStyle app on the iPhone:

Unfortunately, not much seems to work and what does work is useless, e.g., streaming music from an unknown source.

A friend who has a 2015 ML 400 told me he had the option to install this for $599, but did not. Perhaps the GL has the same option?
