Weathertech Bumper
Hey guys - for those who live in congested areas, such as the NYC area: has anyone considered a weathertech bumper step? I am about to buy one but wondering if anyone has bought it before, and if not, it's probably a good one for you guys to explore it.

That's a great find - I'm impressed. The weathertech one actually provides protection from bumps and rear end accidents, which is more of my reason to get it: i.e., protection from NYC traffic.

If I'm not mistaken, the weathertech one is a lot smaller. I think this gives you better protection bc its wider and it has 3 holes so you can have it stick out 3 inches beyond the bumper if you want.

looks like it works great but seems to be very small width wise. It gives you protection for 10 inches of bumper maybe. Flexibility is not a issue since all the forces will be absorbed by the hitch.
