RaceChip for GL350. Please share your experience.
Hello GL350 owners.
Does anybody have experience of using RaceChip on GL350. Can you share it ?
Does it really worth it ? Is there any noticeable power and MPG improvement ? I'm thinking of buying the one that cost $219.

Thank you.

I had it on my 2014 GL350. I went with the one for $375 (if memory serves me right). I can honestly say it added a ton of useable power! We have a house upstate NY and make the trip up and back at least 25 times a year. With so much seat time I can't believe the difference for the price. Mpg improved quite a bit too. Around town we increased an average of 3-4mpg (one 20 mile trip we got around 34mpg!!). On the highway it increased 3mpg on our average runs. I took it off because we were having some warranty work done and felt a huge letdown. Power seems inadequate and my mileage has dropped. I used to average 28-28.3 on the highway going upstate, now 25.5 is a great day and average is 24.
We were in the process of trading the car in so I pulled it off again and wound up selling it. In the end we decided to keep thetruck so now I'm facing buying a second one lol.

Worked in my 2011 GL350 bluetec as the company advertised. Loved it. Really made a difference when towing my two outlanders on a trailer specially when going up hill.

I've been e-mailing RaceChip about their product availability.
According to them :
"The 2015 350 Diesel uses a new engine (actually starting in 2014) and currently only the Ultimate module is supported due to the need for additional processing power. "
So our option is the only one that cost $599.

Are you sure you were actually talking to racechip? The engine did not change last year. Here is what they have listed on their site.
