Latest cost of Pre-paid Maintenance and Extended car warranty
Hi. Would anyone be able to share the latest MSRP and cost to dealer of:
- Pre-paid maintenance - 3 year / 30,000 miles
- New car extended warranty - to extend by 2 years.

And about Extended warranty it should only be ELW you will get it if you are new owner if you bought Certified it is some thing else, in my case I bought ELW for 3yr !00k miles for $3000.00
You will have to shop around for better pricing for but 3K for 3Yr warranty is worth.

Got an ML diesel last month (poaching on the GL forum I guess!) and got 3 year maintenance B-A-B for $1399.
Did not get an extended warranty but did get a 5 year MB tire/wheel policy for $950. It's not an aftermarket policy so I feel a little better about it.

Soon to be 2013 GL450
I'm about to get a 2013 GL450 CPO with 26K miles. I'll likely get a 2 yr CPO extension, but unsure about the prepaid with this mileage. Is the 40K expensive? Should I go ahead with the 3 yr package assuming it covers the 40K, 50K, 60K? or purchase the 40K, then buy the 3yr? Any thoughts?

At 26k miles, assume you're getting the 30k on your own, then get the 3 pack to cover 40k-50k-60k. Based on my reading on this forum, that's prob your best value. The 40k is a big one.

That's what I was thinking, I assume the CPO process doesn't include the 30K. But it seems the 30K isn't that bad, so doing it this way would cover maint through 60K!
Pretty happy with the deal, original MSRP of $82K, getting for $52K + $2.4K 2 yr CPO ELW and $1.4 Maint. So for $56K, warranty through 9/2019, unlimited mileage and maintenance 3/yr/60K (except for the 30K).

2012 GL350 CPO with original MSRP of $77k.
Purchased 2 year CPO extension for unlimited mileage coverage until 10/2019.
Price of vehicle and 2 year CPO extension was $44k
I will purchase the PPM for $1500 from my local dealer when a B service comes due...so total will be $45.5k.

PPM from multiple dealers I got a quote of $1500
2012 GL350 CPO with original MSRP of $77k.
Purchased 2 year CPO extension for unlimited mileage coverage until 10/2019.
Price of vehicle and 2 year CPO extension was $44k
