Also, what should I offer for these cars, what would be a fair market value for these.
I am leaning towards the first car as I like the Black color more.
What do you guys think?

Good luck

As to price, consider negotiating in costly services not yet due per miles but that save money later. Example, trans fluid change, all new three dry filters, wipers, brake fluid flush, brakes and tire ought to be nearly or new for true CPO. Be sure you get official service record on each. Now you're set for years on oil change only, like a brand new car.
Car 1 according to the carfax report was offered for sale on 4/2014, so looks like it has another year of the new car warranty left and then if I add CPo 12 month warranty it will be good until 4/2019 correct? and on top of that I can add 1, 2 or 3 year warranty right?
Car 1 although does not have the pano room which I like, has all the other important options. How do I get a VMI? who will provide me with that?

Also, check with the dealer for the latest carfax. I have looked at both the car fax reports and looks like it is missing latest information like when it was purchased / put for sale by the dealer MB of Wilmington.
That information might also help you know how flexible the dealer would be with the price. If it was offered was sale in the last 30 days, he would not be very flexible. After 30 days is when they get a little flexible.

Number 1 also does not have the appearance package, but has added running boards, which are part of app package. Number has 19' wheels vs the 20" appearance package wheels.
It would come down to color, interior preference and warranty at this point.
I was thinking if I could get them to add the 2 year extended CPO warranty, will see how that goes.
As far as financing, should I just stick with the MBFS rate or can I do better?
Does it make sense to finance a CPO for 72 months, I am thinking of putting $10,000 down and financing the rest, want to keep the monthly payments down.
It will still be more that what I would like to pay for my monthly payment though.
And what kind of MPG should I expect driving mostly around the city?

About the finance rate, ask them what the rate MB is offering. Most likely it'll be around 3-4%. I didn't want to get a loan, but the finance guy persuaded me to take him up on his offer from a local credit union for 1.99%. I figured I'll invest the money instead of paying off the car.
About MPG, I have a 2014 GL450 as well and I get about 17-18mpg city driving. On long distance trip around 19mpg. Gas is cheap. No worries unlike those years when it was more than $4.
Anyway, I also have the manual detachable cover for the 3rd row glass pane. But I leave that off. So, light is always coming through to the 3rd row/trunk area. If it gets too hot and sunny, I'll cover the front 2 rows glass but still having some light coming through into the 3rd row.
I have beige color seats and I find having natural light in the cabin to be very appealing. If you have black interior without the pano roof, it'll be very dark almost cave like. Maybe I have young kids. I don't know. They love it whenever I retract back the cover so they can look up in the sky above, during daytime as well as night.

I agree, we have a C300 with the pano roof and although its a small car, it makes the car more brighter specially with black interior that we have in the C300. I also don't open the roof, but retract the cover to let the light in.
I don't like the color of the second car, so I may pass on both cars and wait for something else to show up. I am also reconsidering whether the GL450 will be a good daily driver car or should I get something like a highlander or XC90 which are smaller and will be more nimble.
I keep going back and forth.

Because I bought used, and beggars can't be choosers, at the time of purchase, there were tons of whites and blacks but non matched what I was looking for. I have the brown color on beige/black interior. I love the beige/black interior, but not the brown exterior. This is the same color C&D refers to as the "buffalo" in their review:
http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...wrap-up-review
Oh the plus side, I'm the only brown GL where I live and work. Every other GL I've come across is the Polar White or Black.
About the price, some will tell you they got the same for $40-$45k. But if the car you are seeing is very clean (exterior and interior), it may be worth while to pay a little more. Dealers are not stupid. If they just listed the car and they know it is in great condition, they will not move much on price.
In my example, I bought a 2014 GL450 with MSRP of $80k for $51k. It has only 16k miles. As a plus, it even came with clear-bra protection which was not mentioned in the ad. So the paint was in excellent condition even though it was only half hood. Sales person did not budge on price. Car was just listed for 3 days when I talked to them. They have 2 other GL that were black exterior but a lot more miles and less equipment for $47-$49k. All were sold within 2 weeks of my purchase when I checked back again.

Where did you see that the second cars color is white? I saw it listed as brown.
Also when looking on cargurus, it is difficult to see exactly all the packages a car has and also see the actual MSRP.
I am serious, but don't know what the stop number is for these cars that I am looking at, should it $45,000 and I am also willing to get it from another state.
And how so I go about finding out about how clean the car is, besides visual inspection?
Do you and PJW have had any issue with your cars since you bought it? also should I look for low miles cars, there are a few in the $52-$55,000 range which have between 15-20,000 miles.

i think that 2nd car is no longer available. The Wilmington website is only returning 2 used cars. None of which is the 2nd car. Now they want $51k for a used one with a MSRP of $75k.
This is the dealership I bought my GL from. They have 2 GL now. Both 2014. Price is in the $45-$48k due to miles. But CPO is unlimited miles anyway. The first one is $81k MSRP.

Also, when I say a youtube review of the GL63 AMG, i loved the flat bottom steering wheel, I don't think there is any option to fit that steering wheel on the Gl450 is there?
