Odd vehicle order codes on VIN decoder
Hi all,
First time poster. I have been searching for a 2013+ GL 550 off and on for for a year or two. I found one that just came to market and has a lot of the options I want, Adaptive Drive and the On/Road Off Road package. It seems to be a very early build in June of 2012 but has really low miles at only 25,000 and it is a Southern Car. When I ran the vin decoder some odd codes came up. I am hoping someone can shed some light to their meaning.
They are:
(018) CUSTOMER READY VEHICLES WHICH SHOULD BE MODIFIED
(911) MAJOR ASSEMBLIES FOR SPECIAL TEST VEHICLES
(103) CONTROL PRODUCTION TEST 3
(981) TUEV INDIV. ACCEPTANCE, DOMESTIC, W/O COC PAPERS
Any insight or help into their meaning would be greatly appreciated. This one would also require me to purchase a 3rd party warranty as it is no longer covered under new car and it is non CPO which I am not looking forward to but everything else fits really well. I don't have the Carfax but auto check shows 1 owner and looks very clean.
Thanks in advance.

yes basically. It was part of the 3rd production test run. I asked about didn’t think test could be sold but was told PT3 can be sold. PT3 meaning production test 3.
another reason it’s fully loaded basically is again since a test they go through nearly all available installed options.

What if you find a car (W204 C63 in this case) with these codes:
006 SPECIAL TEST VEHICLE
101 CONTROL PRODUCTION TEST 1
911 Information for special units
WDD2042771F685904
Order Location FACTORY SALES
This car is an April 2011 when I read 2012 was going to get delivered in July in Germany.
Do you guys think this is a test vehicle or a press car?
