Does this GL have Active curve system?

Hello fellas!
I am currently hunting for a 2013-2015 GL350 with the AMG pack and active curve system. From what I've dug up the last days I'm lurking here, that's the most important option. Since I'm coming from a Porsche Panamera Turbo S, i believe the acs will make the transition easier.
I don't have any family or kids and I'm 30yo, just got fed up on the Porsche and I am looking for a relaxed cruiser.
I was searching for an audi Q7 2014 4.2 diesel until I saw the GL. I instantly fell in love with it.

Now the tough part... Active Curve System is REALLY tough to find. Especially in diesels. I've been through 30 cars, not a single one had it. And many ask me what exactly is the Acs. I hope it doesn't have a different name here in Europe because I'm searching it as ACS and the option number 468.

I can't remember where I read this, but I believe someone said that if the car had a button of a spring with the word "sport" on it it's a sign that the car has ACS.

Here is the pick, does this have ACS?

I have Active Curve System and I have a button that can select "Sport" vs "Comfort". If you provide your VIN, we can look it up for you. ACS is such an awesome thing to do. I drove GLE350 without ACS on vacation, and it felt like a crap.

Thank you very much Jacob! I got no idea why people don't really know about ACS in Germany. I can search Vin numbers as well. The code is (468) Active Curve System, right?
I can't believe it's so rare!
I might have to consider a petrol gl just for the ACS

I think all GL's have sport/comfort button for drive mode change but ACS is also activated from the same button. So the button itself is not a proof of ACS. If you do have it, there will be message "active sport system activated" on you instrument cluster display.

I can share your frustration, I´ve done the same long search twice on Mobile.de, luckily found cars with ACS. Good luck, it´s worth it

Don´t know what kind of package and mileage you´re looking for but there were a few with ACS under and over the price of your pick. For example:

https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/d...4-4aa2886ad7a8

GL´s are so rare in Europe I have to support someone with the same fever!

Last line under Vehicle Description-> Technik This is very well packed, btw, it has both off-road package and ACS + many features not common in 350.

Me? I'm from Finland

Simple run the VIN at datamb.com.
Look for option code 468.
Done.

and yes they are hard to find. Took us 4-5mths to locate color combo wanted with Active Curve. Even just looking at ones this weekend I found zero

I am aiming for a black one, but there are many white ones.. Never seen a white one in person. I know it is subjective, but does the white color suit the GL?

I think white is the best looking colour and it also looks bigger. Silver metallic comes close, both of course hard to keep looking clean. My first one was black, did not like much because every scratch was so visible on sunlight. Then again, chrome parts do look very good with black.

Beautiful car, black06, it is AMG? GL with that big front grill really comes to it´s full glory for you guys in States, in Europe we have license plate also in the front and it ruins everything.

It was pretty tough for me to find the sport/comfort option on my GL350 (I was looking for sport/comfort and Night Vision). I know it will be even harder finding ACS AND the AMG package. You may have find an ebay AMG kit have it painted and install it yourself.. $3k US.

Also you just reminded me, I sent the Mrs. a text a few days linking to a Panamera Turbo S as a belated father's day gift. No response to date.

I couldn’t find any active curve on auto scout...
but there are quite a few with the off-road package. That’s also nice 🙃

Really? I can't follow your link anymore ; it gives an error.(Nvm. It works now)

Might be a close contender. I chose it because it also has a 24 month warranty. You need that on these ca.

Kombifan, you´re right with the warranty, for example adblue heater is expensive and known to fail in few years.

First of all I would like to thank everybody for their time and support. The Mbworld community is just amazing..
Thank you very very much guys.

To the subject, the silver GL is perfect the only issue is that they won't accept my Panamera for a trade in.
I did find one that does accepts my car though.

Is it any good?

Is your car more expensive than the GL or what is the reason for not accepting it, if I may ask? My quick take on the white one is:

Pros:cheaper, newer, colour you wanted, still has JS-warranty and active curve system
Cons: more kilometers, no ventilated designo seats, night vision ( not any good really)

White one has also most of the good stuff, you are basicly swapping TV to DVD etc. between the two. I see no major loss in packages either, they both have all the important ones. If you have seen the car and are happy with the condition of seats and overall interior (probably has been used by a big family), I see no reason why not to make an offer.

I really should move to Germany, that car would cost around 90 000€ shipped to Finland, thanks to our car tax....

Also I think the silver one has ventilated seats...useful for summer. And black designo seats 😍

Plus the off road package which is nice.

The white one does have the rear seat entertainment....but the brown leather....it's a personal choice.
