Manually enable camera while parking
Is there a way to turn on the 360 camera while parking? We currently put vehicle in reverse then drive but there must be a one-button solution, what am I missing?

Yes you can assign the camera function to the "star" button on your centre console. It was that by default when I bought my GL. Comes in very handy very often. One touch.

When I pull into a parking spot, I press the star while in Drive and I get the front camera. I press the Comand button and that gives me the 360 view which tells me how well (or poorly) I am positioned between the lines.

Press and hold the "vehicle" button on the center stack button pad. The camera turns on in a W166. The "vehicle" button is near the red and green telephone buttons.

Both star buttons are actually programmable. There is a hollow star on the right and a solid star on the left of your COMAND wheel.
Go into the settings in Comand (I think it's under VEHICLE) and you can select "favourites" or "preferences" or something like that.
Then you'll see a list and you can assign one item to each star button. My solid star is programmed to be 360' camera, and the hollow star is Fuel Consumption.
Then just press the solid star and you'll get the camera at any time you are at low speed (at higher speeds you'll get a message saying not available)
