Need help with rear DVD entertainment system
Hello everyone.
I am new to the MB world so play nice with me until I learn the ropes.
Ive tried searching this with no luck. I heard that if you have the rear DVD system you can play the dvds from the front command centre on the back screens. Can someone explain how to get this to work. I tried messing around with it for a bit last night with no prevail.
Thanks
Rory

Quick question - in the 2nd row - is that 2nd row DVD player in the Center Console in the back ?
If you have 2nd row DVD slot in the Center Console in the back - then you have the factory installed REAR DVD system that "yes" you can play content from the front in the rear.
If you don't have the 2nd row center console DVD slot - then you have MB dealer installed Accessory DVD system which will NOT play from the front-to-the-back - it will play from rear screen/DVD side slots only.

"Active Aud./Vid. Source for Rear" is what I select to get the DVD to show on my rear monitors. Are your rear monitors on? A message should appear when they are turned on, something like, no Active COMMAND source.

From your picture it looks like you are using AUX. Do you have an AUX source playing? Or do you want DVD? If you want DVD, on the COMAND screen go to the Video menu at the top and select DVD.
