I purchased 2 from Amazon. One packet has one hose and two rubber ends. One hose per each side. I’ll take a pic of mine shortly today. It looks sweet. Even my Benz dealer thought it was slick. They acknowledged the factory piece is crap and breaks easily.

Would replacement of these intake hoses be covered under MB extended warranty. ? Mine are torn and I have coverage until 10/24/2020.
Depends on your relationship with your dealer. I think they are wear and tear items. I got one replaced by the dealer, noting "goodwill" on the invoice. Pretty sure they did not try to claim back from MB. I've seen other posts where the dealer would not replace as a warranty item.
I decided to try the Amazon solution listed above. The hose is way longer than you need so it requires some trimming, but it seems to be working fine so far.

I have used this setup for last 2y. Check occasionally and added a zip tie to hold better bc it would get lose
So my amazon solution was working OK, but I decided to buy a part from the AZAutohaus. The part looked like the OEM part so I installed it no problem. Today I got a check engine light. Related? Not sure yet. I guess I'll put my amazon solution back on and see if it goes off. Seems odd that the more OEM solution would thrown a CEL.
Has anyone else had this issue? Could be a completely unrelated CEL as well.
yup! I followed your lead and I can't be happier. These look 100% better than the flimsy OEM.
You need one per side. I cut just a little off and its all compressed with gives it a more solid look yet.

I've got a 2015 GL350 and I need to replace my driver's side intake hose. The hose is about 3" in diameter, but it's oval-shaped. Has anyone tried fixing these with something like the Spectre 3" hose suggested above?
I just recently did the Spectre hose fix. It actually seems like it will work pretty well. If you leave the previous adhesive on and just tear off the fabric part, you can heat the adhesive up on the plastic with a torch and burn off any remaining fabric. Then just slide the adapter on while the adhesive is soft. I also sealed with gasket sealant, but it likely won't need it.
The factory attachments have an inner ring and an outer ring(outer ring visible in the pictures above). The spectre fitting slides between the inner and outer rings on the factory mounts. Might need to heat up the rubber fittings a bit from spectre to get them into a the correct shape, especially the one that is stuffed into the tube from factory.
Only one day into it, but i like the way it went together.
I would not use plastics hoses to retrofit a fix. The pipes are fabric to allow some air in the intake when resistance is high on the tubes. Most of the air comes from the fresh air snorkel but when the there is not enough some will pass through the fabric if vacuum is present. Use a fabric replacement.
I've had the Amazon replacement on my 2013 GL450 for a couple years. The tubes have deteriorated slightly from the high heat (I tow regularly, sometimes up mountains in the summer with max load, so my engine gets hot), they look like they won't be a forever solution. But the Mercedes originals didn't last either. If the Amazon (well, you can buy it from Autozone, too) tubes need to be replaced, I'll probably just put the same type in there again.
