Ignition coil connectors
thanks in advance
The connector sleeves have tight fits, and oil or dust that get in there creates friction and makes it hard to separate the two connector halves. A way to alleviate this is by using compressed air to blow out the connector crevice before attempting to separate them. Also a small thin piece of metal (x-acto knife blade, but be careful) can break up the dust or grime to reduce the friction.
Senior Leigh, user 39039 on this site, has a great video for this. 2:19 is what you are looking for. But watch the entire video and you will see several different connectors removed. They all share the same principle of operation.

@Andy Scott agree. Go slowly and keep constant pulling tension and wiggling while holding the released latch against the connector body. It will come off. Hot air from a hair dryer or heat gun (be careful) will make the plastic more flexible and help disassembly. If you are in a cold climate now this will help. If you’re in Miami, ignore this idea.
