Two Coolant Resevoirs?

Is the coolant reservoir above the engine on my 2013 GL450 a Turbo Coolant reservoir? What coolant does it take? It is golden brown in color, not Blue like what's in the reservoir in front of the driver against the fender.
Thanks!!

Chad

The coolant above the engine is a cooling system for intercooler. Takes same MB coolant.

Really? The car has 74k on it and that fluid was brown or golden in color, nothing like the blue water in the engine coolant reservoir. Your saying it should be Blue too?

How do you flush that (small) reservoir?

Thanks for the help!

From Google
"What color coolant does Mercedes-Benz use?

It's fundamental to understand that color doesn't matter. While most Organic Acid Technology (OAT) coolants are usually orange, yellow, red or purple, Hybrid Organic Acid Technology (HOAT) coolants are orange and yellow. There's quite a bit of overlap. Then you have Inorganic Acid Technology (IAT) coolants that are usually green, however, some manufacturers sell them in blue. At the end of the day, always be sure to read the bottle to confirm the type of coolant you're using. When looking for the right coolant for your Mercedes-Benz, you need to always check your owner's manual. The easiest way to confirm you are using the right coolant is to send your Mercedes-Benz to Mercedes-Benz of Fort Pierce or give us a call at 7725772694. Schedule service online and use one of our many coolant flush coupons to save today"

There is no flush for intercooler. And i wouldn't do anything extra cause all the plastic fitting in your cooling system is fragile as **** as of now. Unless you want to start replacing parts.
Just add coolant and be happy. Or call nearby dealership and they will confirm coolant specs

My 2013 GL450 does not have this reservoir. I've seen pictures with the tank but for some reason mine does not have it. Came from the dealer this way when purchased CPO. My 2013 GL450 has a build date of December 2012.

There are two 450 models - one with V8 another with v6. V8 has reservoir.

Kind of strange. It is under plastic cover though.
