I have made another post a month or so ago about my 2014 gl450 failing state inspection due to failed left hand engine mount, fast forward and OEM parts are out of stock all over usa, at this point I have to get 3rd party mounts and even quality 3rd party like lemforder are also outta stock, only ones are made by mototeknika which has 1 year warranty on parts and the other one soillar with no warranty, I plan to trade this in after a year approximately for the OCEAN electric SUV I preordered, any thoughts appreciated.

Buy aftermarket solid mounts guy that makes them are on eBay. I ran into back order issues but managed to get one from the dealer.

I have been trying for a month with no luck, every mb dealer I contacted said they are out of stock, I brought a couple 3rd party ones, let's see what happens with them

yes just ensure you receive the right part. The listings look accurate but the pic seems off with the square tip, there are a few generic pics floating around on the eBay sellers, contact the seller to make sure they send the right one for your application.

As I understand that square tip is what actually engine rests on, looks like that is a removable piece and added onto the new mount, most of the 3rd party mounts I found don't have any warranty except the one I found that is similar to what mb offers, I did find a OEM mount but it was for right side only but I was not sure until now that the top square piece can be replaced from old mount to new mount, there is one seller on Amazon called gonwalt LLC that is selling OEM and he only had right side mounts, I will probably get 2 right side ones and replace the square part on top.

Ok good point. The right side does not get much torque, I mean they fail but not as frequent. The left side tends to the culprit that goes bad. Maybe that’s all you need to pass inspection. The left mount lifts apart the right tends to compress.
