16' E63s Diamond White
I don't like how the light switch for the headlights doesn't light up at night. So it can be difficult turning the lights off and switching it to let's say parking lights feature without turning the interior lights on

Just catching up after a vacation. It is great to see forum members finally taking delivery in greater numbers after all these months of waiting.
Congrats to Tony CLS63 and Marsh1 for picking up your new GLs. Tony, thanks to your son for the cool photos. We need a few more from Marsh1 as well. Both rides look great!
Trimmer2, thanks for your photos as well - it looks great in black all shinned up. It sounds like you are pleased with your Renntech tune. You mentioned a timed 4.1 sec zero to 60. Did you (or Renntech) run it to get that time? Just curious.
Mine was built on July 30th and I am now just waiting for delivery . . .

That number was from tuner. There's SO MUCH torque from the get go. The pull is phenomenal and feels much more willing than my 911 around town...but, when set up with launch control, the P is faster BOTH are great to drive around town but, must be very mindful of the size and weight of the GL.

I hope to get mine detailed this weekend and post more pics of my new black one. I had to take it in for a faulty door lock and had the AMG buttons installed. Much more finished look and fits the interior better than the original plastic ones. Worth checking off if ordering one.

We were pulling into a spot here in Coronado, Ca, this evening and I noticed the MB with the fascia and couldn't believe it was actually a Steel Grey GL63. I really wish I'd gotten out and asked to see the whole thing but it was a busy night and lots of ppl looking for parking. No plates, not even paper on the back. Hmmm...can't wait for mine.

I am in the Dallas area and the dealer is in Georgetown, 190 miles away.
I haven't had the chance to go there since I work and they close at 7pm.
They were also doing the Renntech tune which took few days. The GL63 should be ready now.

No just the side. To me it just looked tacked on as a afterthought. I like the cleaner look and am considering blacking out the chrome trim around the windows. The ones on the back stay for now. I will probably do the trim with a vinyl cover to see how it looks before having a body shop paint it.

I kept my transom factory but added a badge to the sides.

Ordered the AMG door lock pins over the weekend. Once it was brought to my attention, the plastic pins look like they were stolen from a NY taxi! Cheap, cheap, cheap!
The parts dept said the price has come down on the AMG metal pins from around $75 to $40/each.

FINALLY, it is here. Picking up on Saturday!!!
Here is maybe the first photo of a GL63 in Palladium Silver. Interestingly enough, I did not order the Accessory Chrome Package (and still wouldn't) but it was added by the region. Dealer will remove if I would like but my wife (and kids) is now requesting that I keep it. Hmmm . . . what to do.
This has been a long, long time in the making. I can't wait.
I hope there is no issue with the kids and comfort in the second row with the power easy entry headrests as some forum members have referenced.
More pictures to come after delivery . . .

Love it! And I love the chrome accessory package. I think it's the best $225 I ever spent on a car. I do have the Steel Grey so it may stand out more on darker cars.

Thanks and thanks for the strong endorsement on the accessory chrome. package. I need to see it in person on the car to make a good decision. My wife has already decided, of course, which means we are likely to keep it unless I really feel strongly.
