MY2015 made worse than before:
-Glass panel over 3rd row roof is removed and now just metal.
-No more 6 disc CD changer up front- just a single disc CD player.

I like the changer.... gave me a chance to try out a number of cds over time without committing them to memory space on ITunes... I also have found that I like loading some music directly onto the MB hard drive.
as far as the rear sunroof... I only take the shade out during the winter as it gets to hot during sunny days. So I won't miss it on my 15.

I have put a deposit down for a 2015 model that the dealer had in the manufacturing queue. I was told that manufacturing will start 2nd or 3rd week of July with delivery in early August.

Just received an update from the dealer today. Manufacturing on my new GL63 will start on September 11 with delivery in mid-September. A big delay from the late-July date I was originally quoted.

I may have missed it but why are you moving from a MY14 GL63 to a MY15?
I haven't checked in a while but was surprised to see there are only 26 new GL63s available now for sale on cars.com. Wow - that's a really low number. The demand has stayed high even two years in and the production pretty low . . .

My dealer has the vin for my truck... Not sure what exactly that means... Who knows... The body might be built and it is sitting on a cart in the corner waiting for Gunther to arrive from Germany to install the engine!
