Used GLS63 or New?

Seems like not really changed besides the MBUX. I see that 3 year old GLS63 are basically around the 50% off so do I take that depreciation or get a 2021 and roll with it?

Yes and purchase a really good extended warranty. It will easily pay for itself. Parts and labor are expensive on one of these beasts.

In the same boat. Considering a used 2022 or 23 with warranty

I wouldn't recommend any MB after 2019 with the 48v system.

You can send me an email with the web listing of the GLS 63's you're considering, I'd be able to get you Fidelity coverage information and pricing for each, repairs accepted at all Mercedes-Benz dealerships and licensed independents in the US/Canada. tgibson@highline-autos.com or (855) 924-1333.

I agree... had nothing but problems in the most expensive 30 day test drive ever. Went back to X166 GLS63.

Porsche
I would stay away from ANY GLS or Mercedes period. I am trading mine in after 27 months of "ownership". One could argue that the 9 months my car spent cumulatively at the dealership makes the dealership perhaps an owner as well. My car has well over $50,000 in repairs over those months and 30k miles of usage. I put in a complaint to corporate and was told to expect to hear something back from them in 4-6 weeks. That was 5 months ago.

I will say this that the Mercedes Benz CPO warranty is the worst in the business of the luxury car brands I have owned (Audi, Porsche, BMW, and now Lexus). Because it is an inclusionary warranty, you have to pay for diagnostic first and then Mercedes decides whether to cover it. This can result in a $1200 spark plug replacement (1 that failed 12k miles from new) or a $1500 coolant bleed valve pipe (metal with some rubber which means it is not covered) for a $70 part online.

If you are brave enough to want a car like this, please check out the Fidelity options above. Pick the platinum plan so everything is covered other than normal wear and tear.

Also, if you think the depreciation is already bad, think again. My car has been basically undriveable since November and depreciated almost $14k in trade in value. I am writing a big check tonight to get rid of this piece of junk and will never ever own a Mercedes again. AMG is an abbreviation for Alles Mehr Gebrochen, or Always More Broken. Mercedes warns their customers by stamping them on every car!!!!

Agree.

MB has slid so far down the quality scale it is surprising. Sadly for the brand and for owners who have to deal with the hassle.

So yeah I have a 21' GLE63 that has been in the shop since October and finally got Body Harness in last week. I had X7 prior but a bit too small and SQ7 is awful.

I decided to get a new GLS63 lease, which will be more expensive than a used GLS but considering I would probably need a warranty to cover stuff, it might be the same price. I am getting an offer from a dealer for $20K off so I might bite.

I don't need to worry about how previous owner used it

If you don't mind me asking, how do you like it so far?
