MBUSA/ SEDGEWICK BUYBACK
Has anyone had to deal MBUSA and Sedgewick for a vehicle buyback?
A little background... I have a 2024 MB GLS63 AMG with 4600 miles that I took delivery on 2/3/2024, engine light came on end of June, took to dealership 7/1/24 where it has sat ever since. They said the problem has to do with the intake manifold and injectors, but cannot seem to fix it.
After 30 days contacted MBUSA on a suggestion of the GM of the dealership to try and get some sort of compensation/answers and a few days later they informed me that they were going to buy the vehicle back from me. I had no idea they were going do this, but I guess they really cannot fix the vehicle. They have provided me with a loaner, and my service writer is just as frustrated as me, as he cannot get any answers or help from Germany.
Does anyone know how the process works? How they value the vehicle? Tax credits, payoffs, inconvenience. Thanks
