Might be the EIS module then... That being said, you could try a different brand battery if the new batteries you tried didn't solve the issue, your key accepts CR 2025. You could also try removing possible sources of interferences. Since you just got your vehicle, it should be covered by some sort of warranty by the selling party, no?

Interferences such as having your key in the same pocket as your smartphone as some people report with MB's Keyless GO although it isn't always an issue.
Other interferences might be the ones in your garage, rare but certain types of garage door openers can interfere it although most modern ones don't. It is unlikely your garage door opener remote will have interferences though. If you live near a transmission line it may or may not interfere with it too.
Try removing your key from your bag or pocket and putting it in the cup holder to see if it helps it start easier.
I also seen updates to the EIS module solving issues like Keyless GO so it might be that you don't have to actually replace the hardware, this is especially true if the software version installed is a faulty one.

no problem, EIS stands for electronic ignition system. It is part of the hardware you plug your key in for non keyless start vehicles, communicates with the immobilizer of your vehicle. If your vehicle has Keyless GO, it is the same thing you see when you remove the push start button on your vehicle. That gives me idea, try starting the vehicle the old fashion way by removing the push button and inserting the key, turning it. If you don't have issues anymore then it is unlikely you have an hardware issue.

You're welcome, thanks for the update on this. In that case if you are still under warranty then I think a simple software update to the EIS will help if you have a software version that is glitchy. There seems to be some communication error with the key and your vehicle through the keyless go system if only the keyless go system is not working properly or maybe if it isn't a software issue, if you eliminate the interferences it would work better.

Also, is there any way of getting Google maps or Waze on the Sat Nav? Thanks SD Card?

Sounds good. Hopefully it all works out for you on the keyless go part.
As for the Sat Nav, since you stated in your original post that your vehicle is a 2018, it should have smartphone integration if it was optioned, if so plug your phone in and go to that section and you should be able to use Google Maps or Waze on your device. Speaking of Google Maps or Waze, I definitely do recommend just using one of those because at least you get the most up-to-date maps and live traffic and I would save yourself a few bucks from getting that SD card with the map software to power the built-in one that can easily get outdated.
