Rebellion Tuned GLA45
While this platform shares many components with its other more common 45AMG siblings it is always nice to get actual feedback from owners around the world once they have installed our kits.
Today our dealer in Portugal installed our Air intake and Tune on a customers GLA45 and it made a great +68bhp gain. More importantly to the petrol heads among us is the smoothness of the tuned vs stock curve and also the fact the entire torque curve lifts without any harsh peaking and drop off.

According to this graph, there are no gains in the lower RPM <2800 . Is it really so or is it just a technicality?
Is it to avoid increasing the fuel consumption that You chose this strategy?
My tune has at least 20 HP gains in the low end.

If you were at a standstill and hit the accelerator hard the car would not achieve full boost (30psi) by 2.8k RPM so requesting more boost would be pointless. If you were driving to extract performance you would never have it below 2.8K RPM Either.
If you did a brake stand launch you would be launching at 3K RPM so in the "tuned zone" and like wise with Race start.
The way we tuned it means an A45 can achieve 3.6s 0-62mph so not limiting performance at all.
Hope that helps.

Matt i am wondering if you have a dealer in Australia?
I have a GLA45 with 1100 ks on it and im not that over impressed with the grunt also i don't have to go back to Mercedes after 1500 ks is there an automatic setting that changes the tune after its run in or is that it
thanking you

The thing I really like is on the dyno graph it looks like it wont seem much different driving around town until it hits @2700 revs
As long as the missus keeps driving around in C mode all should be good, if she hits 3000 rpm all hell might might break loose in more ways than one
Took a bit of stuffing around as i printed the instructions off the net and they were not very clear-might have been my printer
No instructions with it is a bit poor
I cant give a report as by the time i got done it started raining and got dark
I just hope its all connected properly-The car runs so i suppose all is ok
Question- im a newbie to this plug and play stuff...
- if i unplug the tuning box and leave all the rest connected will the car still run through the standard ecu as normal...
We are considering including instructions however the general consensus was having them online means you can never loose them.
In the kit the is a small plug with yellow wires, this is a bypass plug. With the vehicle off and the keys removed you can place this where the tuning box plus in and your car will run as per stock.
Hope that helps and I'm sure you will love the tune !

so i downloaded a timer app, im not sure if the thing is any good
Im not sure what times are expected from Rebellion V2 tune
Here they are
I timed the xr6 0 to 100 and got 4.8 (bit of wheel spin)and it feels like your going to end up in the boot
The GLA is quicker and a lot smoother, when it gets into 3rd it goes miles better than stock, actually the car was still going hard at 180ks
Not bad considering I got 7.6L per 100Ks on a trip on the weekend...

From what I can tell its smoother around town with better acceleration in s mode, most times I get in it its copping a bit of a flogging(the car)..haha..........
annnd loving it..

Im all ears...thanks
Much quicker and responds like it should now! I'll be looking for the transmission tune shortly and the Remus next. Does your price of £999.00 for the Remus Exhaust System, include the sound controller and Remote? If not what's the total cost?
I used industrial Felcro on the back of the V2 and stuck it to the front of the battery box. Can't see it unless you look for it. It's an excellent stealth location and fits like a glove.

! It is a real transformation!
The Remote control unit is an additional £232GBP and can be added at a later date as the system operates of the C,S and M modes
