Hi guys,
I've had several AMG vehicles in my past and just sold my C63 to a good buddy and and working on selling my ML63 as well Have sort of been poking around at used GLA45's, under 10k miles, and was curious if any of you have any feedback in terms of any issues, etc. My AMG tech who has worked on my cars said that the "build is not high quality for both CLA and GLA" but he had not had an AMG version in yet. Let me know what you guys think of your ownership experience so far and if there's any common problems to date. Thanks

No problems until now, 11.000km. Just some rattles that have already been fixed.

what rattles ? my car has about the same clicks.....is it a common problem ?

Some rattles from the door panels that were fixed 100% and rattles from the luggage door panel, around the glass that will be fixed as soon as I get it for service. Some small pieces of paper do the trick until I get it for service.

I have had a few issues with interior build quality, the Recaro seats squeak like crazy and the dealer said it is normal for them to squeak. They told me they have a 2016 AMG on the lot and those seats too.

I also have a very loud knocking sound, which the dealer has been unable to reproduce after having the car for 9 days. I am not geographically close to the dealer, so I have to drive there on Monday to help reproduce the issue. I have provided video evidence of knocking and squeaky seats on youtube. I have only owned the car for 4 months and it has been at the dealer for service or repairs for 18 days.

I need to consider trading it for a non-MB car. The service is horrendous and I even contacted MB of America and they were non-responsive. I have never been so disappointed in such an expensive car. After only 4 months of ownership, I will likely lose money. I bought the car with 10K miles on it.

stay away from that dealer if possible they dont have a 2016 45 on the lot.

had the car for a 3-4 months now, so far no issues, took it to the dealer for a rear rattle that they cant locate or fix.... yup, its gonna be one of my many attempts.

Had the command freeze on me once while i was reversing, the screen froze and controls froze.. system rebooted after 5-10 sec, never happened again.
