588 mi check engine light on
Just got the dreaded check engine light on today. Car has only 588 mi. Pretty disappointed to see. Will take the car in to the dealer for a service check. Confirmed it’s not because of a loose gas cap. Wondering if anyone else having similar issue? Doesn’t appear to drive with any other problems.

Just passed 5000k miles and no mechanical issues. Car runs like a top. Now I have some other small quality issues, like whistle windshield, and a faulty rear wiper fluid sprayer, but dealership is taking care of those and giving me a loaner. Works for me.

After a week in the factory, the GLB is back. It was diagnosed with having evaporation leak and purge valve line failed. The charcoal canister failed also. Factory replacement of the purge value and charcoal canister was completed. Along with clearing the codes.
Hopefully that takes care of it. An interesting observation is that once the repairs where made, the car’s top end MPG is higher now and achieving 30 MPG or more. Prior to the repairs, the car was achieving at most 27 MPG combine driving.

I had a check engine light come on after 2k miles, that went off in a week. It came back on 2 weeks later and stayed on for about a month before I got it checked out. I was waiting to see if it would go off again. There were no performance issues. When it was repaired, it appeared to be some sort of flap stuck in the open position (imaging part of the emmissions system). Either way done, warranty repair, GLB is good to go right now. Didn't seem like a big issue. About a 2 hour turnaround.

Just bought my daughter’s GLB in for a steady yellow check engine light. Car has only about 6k miles and perhaps coincidentally had it’s first service the week before. Wondering if anything happened during that service??? The cars runs fine , drove it at about 80 mph and no discernible issues. I have a 2 week old GLE and I must say that the GLB is a really nice vehicle. It has a lot of pickup and is great in providing a spacious feel inside. The dealer will contact me later today with the diagnosis, very nice dealer, in no hurry to get his loaner back even though the GLB was not purchased there.

Just found out the charcoal canister and some other part had to be replaced. Dealer is ordering parts will be in tomorrow. Not sure why these parts failed however I wonder if it is a problem with not just our cars.
