GLB love?
If you get MBTEX (faux leather, you don't have to condition it, just give it good wipe down and it will look just as new even years down the road)

yes I’ve actually contacted several dealerships all over but none of them say they will negotiate bc of the shortage. In fact, i have found their dealership fees to be higher 😡 i did lose a digital white gla from another dealership an hour away but they too said they couldn’t negotiate.. 😢

Yes I have gray leather seats in my lexus but have ever conditioned them which is why they no longer look too good :-( that's great info too thx! I'm in Maryland & our winters do get cold but I guess I'll just deal with it & wear gloves LOL! ha I'm so glad I found u to chat with; thank u!
I see, hmmm then perhaps you should find a car with heated steering wheel... if not worse case you can direct the vents to blow directly to the steering wheel to help out during the cold days.

Yup after helping you save money from not getting options I believe that you won't find a use for, I am asking you to spend those savings all on car caring products, I am sorry but being a car enthusiast, I tend to treat my car better than the average car owners. So if you find what I recommend being unnecessary, please just ignore me lol. On a side note, Mercedes paint is pretty robust and high quality, you really don't have to follow my recommendations lol.

You can always wrap the colour with a different colour if you happen to want a custom colour, although I think you would agree that choosing the right colour at the beginning is the better way to go.

Yes it's gorgeous in person.. From what I've seen online, maybe the digital white is close? But I've never seen it in person & I missed out on a digital white GLA with beige interior loaded with all the options sadly :-( The dealership (about an hour away from here) was holding it for me but as I was filling out the disclosure form, someone gave a deposit.. :-( so that's why I thought the GLA wasn't meant to be & started considering the GLB LOL! but Yes I agree, I did want a different color so that it looks like I got a new car LOL so that was the one thing that wasn't ideal about the car. Great to know about the dings & rust.. yes I'll focus on selecting first but I'm glad I know about the other stuff for future...
However, you will find more headroom in the GLB compared to the GLC even though the GLC is slightly bigger than the GLB. This is due to the boxy nature of the GLB. Another thing is, if you like screens or you like a more conventional look. The current GLC doesn't have the latest Mercedes design language which is on the new W206 C-Class. The last gen W205 C-Class came out as model year 2015 in 2014, while as the GLC came out as MY16 in 2015. Mercedes typically facelifts (mild-refresh) half way in the life-cycle and completely redesigns the car every 7 years (or less). The new generation for X254 (2023 GLC is due soon), the current gen is X253. I am not sure if you like the current GLC's interior design, it is matter of preference. If you like buttons over screens, you would love it. As for exterior, not sure you would like it either.

GLB is based on the A-Class platform (MFA2) hence why it is classified as sub-compact although MB themselves advertise it as simply compact. Although I do too agree it being a compact more than sub-compact.
Honestly, you could add GLC on your shopping list if you like the exterior and interior design of the GLC, then why not? : )

I see what u r saying!! So it has just the one little screen & all those buttons to press instead... still touch screen though right? do u think the gla & GLB interior is more user friendly & easier to use?? or are the buttons simpler? thx again
