If you got the car Recently, it may show as a “navigation lite” package missing the AR Nav.

All indications point that I should have AR working so maybe a chip missing - time to have a chat with the dealership again I guess.

Yep, we definitely don’t have it then. I’ve been through those menus and it’s not there. The AR toggle thing on the screen isn’t there either.
I’m so annoyed. More that we weren’t told about it more than anything as it was a big part of the decision process.

Yep same thing happened to us! Honestly, it’s really poor form considering the amount you pay for these cars to have them turn up without the feature you pay for and no discussion. What did they think would happen? I would expect at least a discussion prior to purchase. They would absolutely know. Why on earth did they not say anything in all these cases?
mine can be retrofitted apparently but who knows when that will be. And it’s not really the point. Just dampens what should be an exciting moment - getting a new car.

Can you link the pictures
My GLB has the navigation package and augmented reality is included in that package. Does your GLB have the navigation package?
i do see that other MB vehicles have “retrofitted for augmented reality” listed on them. So unless your vehicle options include any of those then I don’t think you have it.

Hi all,
I picked up my GLB 250 this afternoon and can’t figure out how to activate the augmented reality feature. The packages we got are innovation, amg line, vision. The handover specialist wasn’t sure how to do it but said it should come up when we enter a destination through the navigation which we have tried a few times. The navigation panel splits in two with the left one being a variation of the map in the right screen. I can’t find anywhere in the settings about augmented reality?? We have heads up display but can’t figure the AR out. Not sure what I’m doing wrong!
im really hoping it’s just some kind of user error (me!) and we haven’t been misled as it was the reason we chose this model over another cheaper one. If it’s relevant, this wasn’t pre ordered but purchased after it was en route to Australia. We had two cars to choose fromi - one with innovation (inc AR) and the other car didn’t have it but had the air conditioned seats.
Can anyone advise here??

Australian specs guide says Innovation Package is only in conjunction with Vision Package (Head-up display 463).
I'm about to sign a contract and am definitely going to include a sentence in the representations and undertakings section. MBUX interior assistant

Didn't read all the posts but I have same issue. Turns out because of chip shortage not there even though cameras and rest of tech are there. There most likely will be no retro fit because of said chip shortages being root of issue so likely is not capable without full replacement.They don't say you get AR anymore, so technically nothing is left off the build sheets. I had same issue with active LED whatever... I got the headlights and was charged for that part of package but no chip for the high beam assist, actual active LED function. Pretty bogus but at least it still has power windows and tinted windows. I've heard some horror stories on ones on lots these days.

that's not right you can't be charged for something then be told sorry your not getting that because shortage. If you pay for something then you get it or charge me what it cost without said Part . People shouldn't settle that's why they get away with all the bad ****b they did like give their preferred people better cars . That's the influences and celebs who hardly even care about those things but they get it without asking. That's what passes me off more anything are all the undeserving *******s in the world that continue get out in the front line because their daddy was this person

Mercedes was by far the cheapest "bend over" fee right now in the market. Even local Nissan dealerships were charging $7500-10k markup... for a fkn Altima. I feel like there has never been a more justified time to hate or love your car dealer.

They don't charge you for anything you don't get... they're smarter than us. That's why we buy the toys and they make them. My build was changed about 35 different times, so I did get navigation just not augmented reality navigation... I did get MBUX, but they billed it as premium lite or some bull****. But in the end you get what you pay for... I wanted my GLB under $60k completely loaded and it was well under that. But I can't expect S class features without spending a lot more. I could barely have got a premium Outback for the same price and dealer rape going on where I live so I'm thrilled I got the closest possible thing to my order and I'm not angrily driving some other baby mover I hate for almost the same price.
