On previous cars, car manual has the maintenance requirements based on miles, but I cannot see it in the GLB pdf manual. Online shows as:
https://www.waltersmercedesbenzofriv...ice-intervals/

Synthetic motor oil replacement Every 10,000 miles
Cabin dust/combination filter replacement Every 20,000 miles
Brake fluid exchange Every 20,000 miles
Wiper blades set Every 10,000 miles
Spark plugs replacement Every 50,000 miles
Engine air filter replacement Every 50,000 miles
Transmission oil & filter replacement Every 60,000 miles (MY 2015 or newer only)

Thanks for the videos!
The cabin air filter is the easiest one I have ever seen in a Mercedes because there are no panels or the glove box to remove before getting access to the filter housing.
The engine air filter is another story. I'm not too keen on having to remove the ECU to get to it, but it's only every 50,000 miles under normal conditions.

lol the techs at the dealer don’t disconnect the ECM, they just ope the two tabs and unlock it and the they lay it to the side. I watched a tech change a filer in less than minutes.

So it was time to do service B and I scheduled it with a local NY dealer with a loaner car, plus they always wash the car (inside and out). I was anticipating to get it done under $600, but it ended up a bit more and was I just curious if it is NY pricing or standard around the US.
It ended up being $704 plus tax, less $75 coupon, I received in the mail from the dealer, a total of $685.

More work but I change my own oil and filters and have Belle Tire do the brake flus. Have not had the trans fluid changed yet.

I usually do my own oil changes and the filters as required. I also have my local auto repair dealer do the brake flush (usually when doing the brakes). May have to have the dealer do a trans oil change when required. Besides the labor cost at the dealer all the parts are at least double what you would pay after market. Of course much easier letting the MB dealer do everything.

I feel like they figure you are going to use a pump to extract old oil nowadays anyways. Everybody I know that spent the $40 or whatever for them swear they will never pull an oil plug again and makes oil change way easier. I have a friend that said on some of his cars it actually pulls more oil out then pulling plug but not sure I believe him

Pump works only if you have a dip stick. The GLB does not.

LOL... I know. MB has flip flopped several times on dipsticks in their engines.

Has anyone tried to run the vacuum tube to the oil pan from the oil filter drain hole? That worked on my old E Class.

Have not tried this but I will guess that it is not a straight path to get to the bottom of the oil pan. I plan on making a small access panel so that I do not have to remove the entire belly pan. I also will install a Fumoto drain valve so not so messy when draining.
