Our car has the Mercedes in script on the front calipers - how did you overcome hiding these when painting red?

Is a 220d Sport with Premium Plus, offroad, Comand etc - pretty much all the toys except HUD and towbar. I've stuck a bumper protector on the back. Selenite grey with beige Artico interior. Ordered end of March and collected 1 July.

Looking forward to seeing the post-detailing photos, Selenite grey is a great colour to show off the gloss. Took Red Ken to a vintage tractor rally yesterday. The heavens opened and the field turned into instant quagmire. Pressure washing and trauma counselling are the next two things on my agenda.

Don't start! I'm off to Washington DC on Thursday. Delayed a day so I could pick up my new GLC on Wednesday. It'll be sat on the drive until I return. I'm delaying buying USDs until the last minute tomorrow

Good call on giving the beige interior some Gtechniq love, Martyn. With that colour I don't think I'd have made it off the dealer's forecourt before giving it a christening with some undesirable substance. You'll be able to smugly think of me sweltering in my black interior in the summer heat. What am I on about? We both live in the UK so that's never going to happen!
Did you take the Grey Lady to Ultimate Finish in Luton per chance? She would have been in some very exotic company judging by the variety of hypercars that go through their doors. Did the exterior get Crystal Serum or did you spring for the Full Monty and get CS Black with the 7-year guarantee.

I used Hawk Detailing from the next village (had to wait a week whilst he did a string of silly money cars for a photo shoot) - and not the top of the range GTechniq treatment, but the C1. I wanted to limit the budget to just a tad more than the Stealer was asking for Stargard or whatever it is called and I'm pleased with the results. Trouble is now SWMBO will expect me to be out there every few days, keeping it all clean and sparkly.
Selenite grey never fails to deliver the goods when it comes to reflectivity. You are now officially the Guardian of the Gloss. I'm addicted to the smell of Blackfire's Midnight Sun carnauba wax. Red Ken has had 5 coats now on top of their Wet Diamond sealant and the flake pop, depth and warmth the paint now exudes is just immense. People actually stop and stare!

Colour: base black, Base MP1 Premium package, Intelligent Drive Package, Acoustic Glass. I went for the lighter lime wood interior a subtle two tone inside.
Look at the base rims black on black.

My wife got a GLE back in January and it sort of grabbed my interest. Then recently I was in a place to get something, and the GLC really grabbed my attention - last week.....

Thus far I have added the all-weather floor mats, and running boards (though I gotta pop them on still). I will likely add little bits here and there, but overall I love the thing!
