Also shopping in DMV area
I am so glad that I found this forum. Originally I was shopping for a GLA so being a luker at GLAOwner site. Didn't know there is so much valuable information here .
Ironman,
I am also shopping in the DMV area.
As a matter of fact I have an appointment to visit a dealership tonight in Bethesda to talk about possibly transfer a vehicle in their 'other' locations ( I am guessing from Devon PA).
I would like to send you PM asking more details regarding your experience. Thanks in advance!

I ended up going with euromotors in bethesda. If you don't mind me asking, how much was the MSRP which you got 10% off?
Also, what does everyone think about trying to renegotiate once my custom build has arrived. Do I even have much bargaining power since I already paid $1,000 deposit, could I walk away and they have to refund the 1K?

Can you PM me the contacts of the dealer in California that are offering these discounts. I have been trying to order Cardinal Red, with Beige, Premium, Multimedia, Lighting Pkg since December. Most of the dealers I have emailed do not even contact me. My local dealer ordered me one in January with no deposit but it won't be built till end of April and we aren't close to the discounts you guys are talking about. I have had contact with a very large Southern Calif. dealer who is giving me the runaround and I stopped all correspondence with him this last weekend

I took one in stock last Saturday.
We drove all the way to Baltimore from DC suburban as they had 2 with spec that we like to compare. We got it a bit over 10% including a penfed $1000 certificate.
I know we could have done better if I insisted but it was late Saturday night and we have a 3 years old with us plus 2 other kids in our friend's home...
Very happy with the car, the ride is so smooth compared to my previous car - a mini cooper S.

Atlanta dealer
I ordered GLC rear wheel drive. My MSRP was $47190. I got a 10% discount on my MSRP + $1000 MB Fleet discount from my company which brought down the base price to $41,471. Final price ($41,171 + $41 Government Fee + $638 Doc & title fee + $2947 tax = $45,097). I have placed the order, build is scheduled for March 2nd week, delivery is expected in April first week. If I calculate the over all discount including MB fleet discount, it totals to 12.11%. I live in Atlanta suburbs.
Thanks,

Any one recently in bay area got some x% off on GLC? Pretty interested to buy a GLC in this month but not sure how people in Bay area (North California) got on the discount.
If you have any recent discount number on any dealer in California, I'd glad to know. Thank you so much :P

But, in South CA like Los Angeles metro area, you can easily get 9~10%. If you think that's big/worth enough, go down there to get your GLC. Save you thousands of dollars with only 5~6 hours drive.

I am in Fremont 94539. I have reached out (or even personally visited) to Fremont Auto Mall, San Jose, Pleasanton, Oakland, and San Mateo. The best offer I could ask was like 4% off from MSRP.

One more question, I have never done such remote negotiation before, is there anything I need to pay attention to on the process?

Hi, thank you so much for the information. I think that's close to what I have heard. I may test drive this week this week and reach out the salesman in LA. (I'm OK to be there).

I just purchased GLC with MSRP of $52,135. Dealer only discounted car by $3062 (5.9%), and salesperson kept telling me that she's never seen sales manager discount a GLC by this much (yeah, right!). I did get them to throw in all-weather car mats. I live in suburban Philadelphia area.

Los Angeles area. Picked it up last Friday did the deal a week before that. They had the car on a truck shipping to the dealer.
MSRP 44,195
Walked out paying 44,001 (including tax, license ...) and will get $600 back from Mercedes financial for prior lease return. The dealer knew about the $600 back. So total $43,401
Free all weather floor mats you say? No need this is so cal.
For those into percentages that's 9.67% discount from MSRP + $600 from Mercedes financial. Entire negotiation was 1st visit for the wife to test drive the car (wife's primary car) and 2nd visit to tell them at what price I want it at.
