Also order GLC from a dealer in LA area. I don't have exact build date, but mine is in B1 status which is 13 days to production. Should be pretty close to yours.

Probably our GLC will come to LA on the same ship?!

Unbelievably, mine is still not assigned to a ship (per the SA).

Well 2 things.. Didn't someone else on the forum say that their GLC was made early Feb and end of month it was still at the dock yet people who got made after theirs had been on a ship.. Wondering why is that.

Also I think someone wrote that the MB NetStar doesn't update until 3pm I'm assuming Eastern time. So I will reach out to my SA around noon LA time and see if I finally got a ship name or better yet he tell me it's on the 2 boats that left Thursday that had MB on them.. Triton Leader and Lavender Ace... Which are both heading to Baltimore and Long Beach.

That is really odd. When was your car produced and when did it make it to Bremerhaven? Hopefully it will be on a boat soon.

AFAIK it's been done with production since ~Feb 24th. I got an email from the SA saying it was at the port on Mar 1 so that's the earliest date I have confirmation that it was at port...likely it was there earlier.
So my wife ordered a new BMW X1 M package a week ago that was just finished being built at the time she ordered (they found it in the system). Now the race is on to see which car gets here first :/

That would be a shocker if the BMW got here first Hopefully, your car will be on a ship soon.

Finally on its way!

My car is now C2 - On the Water...

Ship: Euphony Ace
Manager: MOL Ace (Molroro.com)
ETA: 4/1

The crazy thing is this ship took off from Bremerhaven on March 3rd a WEEK ago, but even as of Monday (March 7th) my status on NetStar was the same. Maybe it updated on Tuesday, Wed, Thursday etc.. But as of this morning when the dealer checked, NetStar said my ship is the Euphony Ace.

That was 1 of the 3 ships I had felt it would get on.... based on the 3 ships that were coming to LA since my car has been at the Port.

So maybe NetStar is just not updating as fast.

Looking at current info on this ship.... it's next destination will be to the US in approx 3 days.. and from looking at the route it should be arriving in Baltimore in 3 days and then Brunswick (both MB drop off Ports)

Then.... Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and ending in Long Beach!

I have a feeling your car is on my ship and maybe something is not updating. My car was done with production 2/23, at the port on 2/25.

If not maybe it's on the 2 that took off yesterday since NetStar didn't have me on a ship that took off 8 days ago.

If NetStar is not really the "real time" update, then perhaps my status B1 13 DAYS TO PRODUCTION is also wrong?! Could be already in production?

I agree. Net star does not always seem to be real time. I did not find out my car was on the boat till the boat was on the water. The car was on the boat on Feb3. I found out what ship it was on on Feb 5.

GT C Roadster

Ordered a GT C 2018 in March, it was stuck in B4 status for about 2 weeks, last Monday the status was B5, 2 days later which is today it's under status B6 now.

Any idea what's B6? I couldn't find it.

I only found the following on here:

A4FINAL SUPPLIER ORDER/SCHEDULED NOT PRODUCED

B0 19 DAYS TO PRODUCTION

B1 13 DAYS TO PRODUCTION

B3 NO CHANGES POSSIBLE

B4 2 DAYS TO COMPLETION

B5 PRODUCTION COMPLETE

B7 AT PORT/READY TO BE SHIPPED

B8 ASSIGNED TO SHIP

C1 SHIP DEPARTED

C2 SHIP NOTIFICATION/ON WQTER

CS SUMITTED TO CUSTOMS

C3 CLEARED CUSTOMS

C4 AT PORT

D1 VPC RECEIVED

D2 SURVEYED AT VPC

D3 POTENTIAL DELAY

D4 READY TO DELIVER

D5 RELEASED TO CARRIER

D9 WHOLESALE/CONSIGNMENT PENDING

F1 WHOLESALED AND INVOICED

I1 RETAIL

Any idea what's B6? And how long more to reach Thornhill, ON. Canada?

It could be it failed a post production test and they've moved it to one side while they wait for the guy to come back from maternity/paternity leave to fix it. It could also be something else entirely different. Either way, this post is not helping at all. I suggest you do something else instead of reading this. Playing marbles might help...

I just checked the codes on my GLC and while most of the codes above hit chronologically, mine actually went B6 AFTER B7 and B8. B6 means Factory Invoiced, whatever that means. The same day it went B6 it also went C2, which meant it was "on the water".
You should get your dealer to give you the current screen shot of your cars Vehicle Information screen from Netstar.

You may find out it's "on the water"!!

Note: Netstar adds a "0" to the codes above, so B5 above will display as B50 in Netstar. Just a heads up.
Netstar will also have several codes in between some of the ones above. The ones above are Milestone codes with more detailed codes that can be hard to decipher on your Netstar printout.

Hi,

I already tried tracking it on
https://www.2wglobal.com/webapps?frameId=150363849250572239&url=https%3A%2F %2Fatt.2wglobal.com%2Fgstattweb%2Focean.do%3Fmetho d%3DgetDefaultOceanQuickSearchPage

By by using the vin# in the cargo ID and it said no records found which means it's not on the ship yet.

Nope, that just means it's not on a WW ship. Mine came over on a K Line ship, the Eurasian Highway. My car showed up on that ship using the VIN number (I don't have the link handy), but before I checked I KNEW it was on the Eurasian Highway because it said so on the Vehicle Information screen in Netstar.

You need to find out the Netstar status (as I mentioned before) before you spend time trying to "find" it on a ship.

No point in asking for help on this forum if you go off on a tangent doing things out of order. Don't mean to sound harsh, but you're just wasting my time and yours if you don't pay attention.

Kiki, you should probably slip over to the GLC Waiting Room thread. Lots more information about how to follow your car there!

The last post on this thread before yours was 4/16. Probably nobody paying much attention to this one.

NetStar is available in the US, NOT in Canada! Perhaps you didn't read my post clearly 😜😂

No point in getting snarky, kjkj. In your first post you were throwing around statuses like you had access to them. You never said you didn't have access to Netstar. I assumed you did. Being in Ontario meant nothing to me.

Regardless, when it hits C2 (however you find that out) you'll know it's on the water. THEN you can go about tracking it.

I guess I was a little snarky! Sorry!

The Canadian Government are too slow on completing the certification for the GT C 2018

I can't wait anymore!!

I hope it doesn't get stuck in the port for one year like what happened to the CLS 400 I believe.
