To clarify, I paid for the 14 way seat with memory to get it.

Does your GLC have a powered passenger headrest?
As Doc says, I don't think it's electronically adjustable unless you got the 14-way passenger seat option (I did not, passengers are SOL!!! haha). It should be adjustable through old-school mechanical means though.

My 2014 c class is like the standard GLC. Has 14 way driver. 8 way passenger. Memory driver side. No memory passenger. Have to manually adjust passenger headrest.

Our headrests are power adjustable, but that is due to an optional seat comfort package. I do not believe it does this as standard.

14 way passenger seat with memory is code 242. Car must have interior package to order it.

Mbusa web site states that DUAL powered headrests are STANDARD on the 2016 GLC300. Mine was delivered with the dummy button. I intend to complain to the dealership. Not what I thought I bought.

Where does it say that? I must have missed it and the only spec I see says it comes standard with driver's side memory. The passenger side memory is listed as an option. The manual shows two different sets of instructions for seats with and without memory, and without memory the head restraints are not electrically adjustable.

Agree. My wife had me pay extra so that she could have all the extra adjustments including the power headrest after we had test drove a car without it.

Click on "comfort & convenience" and scroll down to seating. I can see how skolodkin might make that assumption.

dual power headrests

I responded to the email with the specs from mbusa.com, page 2'seating.where it states "Front dual power headrests (standard)". Dual means both.

I can see the confusion then. An argument could be made that it's inconsistent with the build tool.

The build tool is garbage, it shows premium sound and aluminum pedals in all configurations among a ton of other problems with it, a complete shame.

My new GLC300 comes with several manuals that fit into a sleeve provided by Mercedes. It's about 2.5 inches thick or so. I can't seem to find the right configuration in the glove compartment that makes it fit cleanly. I asked my much smarter wife and together it would seem most configurations won't even allow the glove compartment to close. The best we could figure out was to put it in at an angle which leaves very little room for anything else.

Am I missing a hidden compartment or something? Because, if not, it sure looks like the owners manual bundle doesn't fit in the glove compartment.

Thanks in advance.
We angled it up just a bit with the top of it going in first then tilted upwards. Works fine for us.

3 days since I collected my GLC250d and have noticed a few issues....warning lights for parking sensors are very poorly positioned (front and rear). To observe the front ones you must look down to the dash away from where you need to be focusing which isn't a good plan when manoeuvring in a tight situation. The rear ones are placed way too far forward on the roof so that they are again invisible in rear view mirror if mirror is positioned properly to frame rear window.
The lights for the boot/trunk are positioned above the retractable cover so that if you open the boot/trunk lid at night with the cover in the closed position the area is in total darkness.
I have experienced eye strain from the windscreen which appears to be giving the effect of looking through incorrect spectacles. Others experience this with this car also!!

I've always put my MB manuals in one of the door pockets. Too big for glove compartment.

I keep mine inside the house. Why take up valuable real estate with that. After all it is built into the nav system.

Has anyone folded the front windshield wipers out in order to clean the windshield? Mine hit against the edge of the hood. Not a very good bit of engineering there.

Does anyone have problems with locking the car using your thumb over the locking sensor on the door handle?
Both my wife and I never seem to be able to lock the car using our thumb and only works with a finger. Bit temperamental and would ask MB to consider this for future models.
