Seat belt 'tensioner' UK GLC
Hello before getting my GLC I test drove one and noticed that when you buckled up you seat belt it was tensioned slightly to take up any slack- quite a cool feature. Had my car for just over a week and it doesn't seem to do this- the dealership confirmed that my car does have it and if I popped in they could show me how to switch it on as the optioned is buried away in some menu- the dealership isn't very handy I've been reading the owner manual and Audio 20 instructions which seems to suggest there is a seat sub menu in the vehicle settings in the Audio 20 system- but I don't have a 'seat' sub menu in the vehicle settings - any ideas where I can find how to switch this function on? I have a UK spec 250d AMG with premium package- appreciate UK spec maybe slightly different from US etc GLCs- thank you

Thanks Mikey- I checked with the dealership and they asked with their tech guys who confirmed the seat belt tensioner comes with the driver assistance package- which I don't have.
There doesn't seem to be much info on what the driver assistance package comprises- but if it is the case then suppose I can stop searching for something I haven't got! Still shame as I quite liked the feature...

Please let me try to clarify - the Belt-Adjustment feature - which auto-tightens when you buckle/up on startup = is standard for your GLC - and it does have a On-or-Off
This is NOT accessed in the center console Entertainment system - the on/off is accessed in the center instrument cluster under Settings - the controls on the left side of the steering wheel take you there.
If you pull out your Owner's Manual - under Seat Belts - Belt Adjustment should be there..

Thanks- I've had a look in vehicle settings on the screen in the instrument binnacle but belt adjustment options aren't there either, just an option to set a speed limit for winter tyres. Maybe it's because I don't have the Driver Assistance package?

Clearly significant differences in spec around the world. The owner's manual doesn't help as it lists every option available so not definitive answer as to whether my car has the belt adjustment feature- if it does it is well hidden!

To be helpful - yes, US GLC's are set thru the cluster - and yes, UK is set thru the COMAND center console system.
See if the UK instructions in this web link help guide you it should be after Acoustic Lock and before Auto Mirror Folding in the COMAND sub menu:

Well my ghost has upped sticks and has found another car to haunt! The belt adjustment option definately can't be found in any of my car's systems- curious....
