GLC Prepaid Maintenance and Extended Warranty
I never thought to ask this at that time but do you think if I paid for the first A Service, the dealer would cover the other 3 services? Here's a screenshot of my mercedes me online account showing the expiration of my prepaid maintenance:

^^^ This. A benefit of a Benz lease, first time I have ever been able to residualize maintenance. But on my 15k lease, it works out to $765.

This is my first post on mbworld regarding my first MB purchase which is the lovely GLC43. Very excited about that !
Are there mbworld members in GTA/Toronto whom were able to negotiate discounts on their Extended Warranty and/or Prepaid Maintenance and/or Tire and Rim Protection. My dealer is not really open to price negotiation on these items.
Love to hear from you all.
Cheers !
That being said, I'd be interested in hearing what owners actually paid for those services. I was told by a local dealer that the 1st service was $550 and the 2nd was over $800.
If I forego the PP maintenance package, what can I realistically expect to pay for the first through fourth year services?

Will ask tomorrow when I pick up my car.

I now don't think this to be true and am wondering if it is possible to cancel it, and purchase it elsewhere. The warranty is supposed to be refundable if you do not use it, and of course we have not used it yet. Does anyone know whether this is true? Does anyone have experience with this?
This was fraudulent, and we would not have purchased it if he had not lied to us. Of course buyer beware, but outright untruth is wrong and I think actionable on our part. I'm interested in other's thoughts and experiences regarding this. Thanks.

Basically they lied to you.

I just ordered for lease a GLC300 RWD and will go on my own. Anything other than fluids that goes wrong should/will be covered under warranty. I just have to save the invoices that show the A/B was done and the lease is good at turn in time.
My 36mt 2014 E lease has had one door problem covered under warranty and I will only have had 2 fluid changes since the 3rd will not be due until after i turn the car in.

Local repair shops: can be much less expensive
Dealers are higher-priced, but...
- do the local repair shops have the same software updates that are applied when taking the car to a dealer for regular service?
- dealer service automatically updates your file with MBUSA so warranty claims are not an issue (don't have to prove service was done)
- the cars are now so high-tech--do local repair shops have latest codes, and are they fully able to diagnose and fix issues with on-board computers and software?
- do the local repair shops have latest service bulletins/recall notices, etc. (for example, info about the brake squealing that is discussed here)?
- will always be using genuine MB parts

The above from Sigp232 is true. I canceled both and am lined up to purchase both at a savings of $600 over what I paid originally. To the dealership's credit, the cancellation was painless and was not contested (took five minutes). It will take ~6 weeks to get the refund, however.
Buying the new warranty and prepaid maintenance is easy over the phone. Prospective buyers can learn from my experience and know that one does indeed have 30 days to purchase before the 15% surcharge kicks in.
One other thing--the place I'm buying from said that if you purchase the A service first out of pocket, you will only be eligible to purchase the Star Premier PPM plan after that (same servicing as the Premier, or new car plan, but less attractive pricing). The "regular" Premier PPM is only available on cars that have not been serviced yet. This is different than what I have seen in other posts in this thread, and there appears to be confusion about it as different dealers are not relaying the same information.
