You don't necessarily have to order them locally, tho. Most of the time the local dealership will charge you retail. Often, you can order online at a place like mbdirectparts, or mboemparts, which are dealers but sell generally wholesale to the public, and save some money. You have to figure shipping in, but depending on the part, you can often come out cheaper. I usually do.
Google "cheap oem mb parts" or your part number and see what comes up. There are a lot of options for oem parts out there.
