Need some help on floor mats options
I'm going back and forth with my dealer on the velour floor mats
that are listed as an option during the build program on MB's site.
They list the velour floor mats as a $145 upgrade/add on and the salesman
is trying to tell me that what I'm seeing on the MB website is the stock
floor mats, there is no upgrade.
Anybody out there that can straighten this out?

As far as I'm aware, here in the UK our GLCs come with velour overmats fitted as standard. The only extra-cost option offered is the rubber all-weather overmats. These are the MB part numbers:
Front 253-680-43-01-9G33
Rear 253-680-49-01-9G33
Cargo 253-814-00-00

Yeah, that's what the salesman said.....but,
why are they listed in the accessory catalog with all the other things that don't come
standard and shown as an option on the build site????
It doesn't make sense. I guess I'll have to wait until mine is delivered in January to
find out.

Your salesman is accurate - if you have a GLC on order - I would not sweat it if the consumer website tool is inaccurate. Your NetStar build sheet will show the velour/carpet mats in the standard features section.

mats also. Everything in the catalog is add on, no standard equipment
unless it's included in a package. So again, why list a $145 add on on
your build site?
But you're right, I'll wait for the final answer for when my GLC arrives in
January.

I knew someone years back that always bought a spare set of floor mats when he bought a new car. Perhaps the Capet mats are listed for folks who areinterested in getting another set.
