true enough. Have had the car in three times, each time it was cleaned...2nd time the dealer brought in an outside windshield specialist company. Angle of attack of the blades have been adjusted twice. Blades replaced twice.

My GLC just underwent its first A check, and as specified, the nine month old wipers were replaced. I sure hope this doesn't screw up my perfectly working wiper blade system.

I brought my c250 in the other day to look it over/clean it/etc, and decided to clean the windshield. It took 4 applications to remove the contaminants and get good water sheeting, and this is on a car I clean very regularly. If you're willing to spend the money on aftermarket blades(which in my experience with many brands of blades/vehicles ALWAYS perform subpar compared to OEM) perhaps you should purchase the MB cleaning agent and try to clean the windshield yourself. I know it sucks, but if it fixes it, I'm sure it will be worth it.
Plus, the bottle lasts forever so any time contaminants build up you will be able to clean it.

adjusted twice sounds like they weren't adjusted properly the first attempt... which means if somebody isn't capable of using the wiper arm adjustment tool, they probably also don't know how to clean the windshield properly. The MB cleaning agent has very specific instructions, and can take up to 5 applications to thoroughly clean.
