Killswitch747: I don't know which country you're in, but keep in mind that dejongj is in the UK. The brits calculate MPG differently than the yanks do. Part of that has to do with the fact that Imperial gallons are different than US gallons.
Yes the scale doesn't seem to go above 40mpg. As I said I'm not worthy. I was worried that AMG would call me when they review the remote telemetrics and threaten to take the car back.
To to be fair this was photographed by my daughter on the motorway back in December on our way to the AMG Private Lounge sponsored meet up near Coalville.

Brits buy their petrol by the liter.
But they still use mph rather than kph.
Don't ask how that's calculated.
When the country converted to metric they just couldn't bring themselves to give up everything Imperial.
Fortunately the pubs still sell lager by the pint.

More likely they'd offer you a position as their test driver.
Exactly, it gets confusing and pointless seeing posts of a 4 cyl 2.0, three different diesels, 1 hybrid and the twin turbo V6 petrol. All very different engines with very different incomparable fuel consumptions; and that is even before the difference in gallons, litres etc.
Here is mine.
Nothing to brag about.
Around town, I average about 14L/100km
On the highway, I average about 10.2L/100km.
When I was going at speed limit (100-110KM/h), I'd get around 9.5L/100km which is not bad.
