Can I order non-run flat tires?
I have a 2013 GLK 350 4Matic and might be purchasing the GLC43 soon. I do not want run-flats, however, especially if I end up leasing and have to replace the tires with OEM run flats before I turn it in. I bought my girlfriend a BMW X1 recently, and they had an option to delete the run flat and include regular all season tires, plus a space saver spare. It was an "invisible" option we had to ask the dealership to apply. Does anyone know if that's possible on the GLC 43? I absolutely detest run-flats, especially in Colorado where I'm often 100 miles/2 hours from the nearest town and would much rather change my own tire should I have a blowout.

There is no "invisible" option - you might consider paying/installing "regular tires" after delivery - by a can of flat-fix for the boot - then have the OE original tires in the garage to put on when you next need to do tire replacement before lease turn in.
With a MB lease - you might want to know these things:
(1) you have GAP-Waiver - same effect on GAP insurance - in the event of a accident/total-out
2) Programs such as Wheel/Tire, Prepaid Maintenance, etc - can be handled as Cap Cost items - so in effect you pay only the "depreciation %" on the retail MSRP for those MBFS coverages.
You are not "hit up" for the cost of replacement tires on lease turn in unless the tires are "unsafe".

Thanks. The biggest concern is i just don't want runflats. They are crappy in winter and are loud all times of year. I don't want to pay extra for regular tires, I just want the car delivered with them. I should have some say in that matter when purchasing a $65,000 car.

I had the same concerns about the run flats. They are fine. I have had my GLC 10 months. No complaints about the tires. I have 19 inch wheels. The ride is actually better than my 14 c class with regular tires.

I bought a glc 43 - it came with 20" Michelin latitude 3 NON run flats. Since we live in northeast Ohio I swapped them for all weather tires. Willing to sell the summer tires for a good price. 100 miles on them at most.
255/40/20 and 285/40/20. Stock glc 43 tires

I wonder if the summer performance tire option is what switched you to regular tires? I don't plan to run summer/winter tires separately. For me, AWD with all season tires and common sense is enough, although I may pick up a set of chains for the rear tires for emergencies. I won't have my GLC43 for months yet. Good luck selling the tires!

Have approx. 11,000 miles on my GLC extended mobility tires. No complaints.
I especially like the fact if experiencing a deflated tire one can continue on to a repair shop.
