It says its sent but nothing happens on the nav screen, i presume i am missing a step somewhere?

mine is slightly different. When I try in google maps and send via Mercedes me it says fail to send. However actually in the Mercedes me app itself I try that way and sends straight away and it's there on the screen when I get in the car. That way works a dream.
Only had the car a day so learning on the job.

Took me a while to figure this one out cause Mercedes lack of tech is just appalling. You have to have your phone hotspot enabled (if iPhone ) and then go to Tlephone/Internet/apps there is an app called POI Download. Open it and it will be there. Choose the one you sent and select navigate to.

One more thing the app loading is quite slow.

P.s. not sure if command does it differently (I hope so)but even my BMW 2010 was getting addresses without me connecting a phone and directly to messages and even showing unread symbol.

Mercedes me is driving me mad. It was working great until yesterday and now the app is appalling. I have deleted and reinstalled about 20 times and can get to log in but then it just won’t open. I have tried on 3 phones and it’s the same on all of them.
The portal is working on the laptop so it isn’t that. I have sent an email to mercedes but no reply yet. Is anyone else having trouble opening the app? I briefly managed to get it working last night and it asked to authorise the app on the comand screen which I have. When I open the app it sticks on the attached two screens. I have emailed Mercedes but not sure what help they can give really.
Frustrating isn’t the word.

Command does indeed do it differently, and it's about all that keeps the command navigation from inducing the same level of frustration and anxiety other input methods are wont to inflict. Just put the POI or address in Me on your smartphone and about 95% of the time it pops up on the navigation screen and gets put in Last Destinations by the time you are ready to use it. (Actually nicer than the BMW app that puts it in Messages.)

A couple of niggles, though. First, sometimes it doesn't show up until too late to be useful or not at all, and second I wish that the app kept a log of destinations already entered because the nav keeps only the last 20 and it would make it easier to send them again if necessary.

You may have the same problem I had with MM on my iPhone SE. I was told to delete it so that my recent CPO purchase could "verify", and then reinstall it. Well, after deleting it, MM would not reinstall. I would get the blue circle which would eventually fill in all the way and then nothing. I discovered that the app hadn't actually deleted. The icon was gone, but the app still was on my phone. Go to Settings/General/Storage & iCloud Usage/Manage Storage and wait until all the apps load up. Scroll down to MM, tap on it to get the next screen. You should see the option to Delete App in red. Delete it, return to your home screen. I did a hard reset, after which I was able to download the app, successfully log in, and all worked well after that.

This Works!

i just tried to send a google map pin to my car using the Mercedes Me app on my phone (complete using ??- selected Mercedes me app) and then went to the tel/intenet/mercedes apps- where I found the POI downloader - there it was the map pin I sent!

This is gonna save me a world of hurt fighting the Garmin interfase!
