Clean beige seats/ seat cover?
Hi,
i have the light beige interior and wear blue jeans a lot, I’m starting to see staining of the beige color. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to clean?
Since I don’t really want to constantly clean, does anyone recommend any covers? Or seat covers?
Thanks

I assume you have MBtex - not leather. Because the two are cleaned very differently. MBTex can be cleaned with 409 or pretty much anything. They are just plastic. Stubborn spots can likely be went after with something like a magic eraser, but don't over use that, it does eventually wear at the surface. I have found in my tan interior GLA that using 409 and the occasional alcohol wipe got up all marks. If you have leather, you will need to research the process as it's much more detailed. However, I will recommend the Letherique system - nothing better than that. Forget Lexol - it, like many others has silicone which builds up and seals-in dirt if you don't get it out.

I, too wear jeans quite often in my GLC . Someone suggested that I wash new jeans with a quart or two of white vinegar for the first washing to prevent discoloration on my light MBtex seats, and this trick has really worked! And BTW, I've found that a 50/50 mix of Simple Green easily removes other soiling on the MBTex upholstery

Had to use a sponge and scour pad with soapy water. Sponge by itself and 409 wouldn't take it off. Once I switched to the scrub side that seemed to work.
I ended up getting for now.
