GLC 63 and 63s for 2020 MY
Hello,
I will be in the market in the next year to buy a GLC 63 or 63s. I am waiting for the refreshed 2020 model year before I make the purchase.
How does MB usually operate when doing a refresh? Do they usually start out with all their previous engine choices available right after the refresh?
I am curious because my plan would be to buy the 2020 MY and get either the GLC 63 or the 63s. I'm thiking maybe MB will keep those for MY 2021 or 2022... I don't know how they usually do things in case of a refresh.
PS. I've noticed the GLC 63 is no longer available on US or Canadian MB website. Only 43 and 63s.
Thanks.

The 63 engine isn't gonna change in the next couple years, that's the new baby and it's going into everything. They will add 48v and mild hybrid systems to it, but it's gonna be the same basics for probably the next decade at least.
The 43 was a stopgap until the 450/53 with the new I6. That's coming out now in some cars, the GLC will get it also. The 300 is gone, will be a 350 with the updated 4 cyl. Same as the C class.

I'm curious as to why the GLC 63 does not appear on the configurator on MB Canada and USA... do you know something?
Also, I've heard quite a few times that the GLC 63s is only available in the Coupé form but when I look at the canadian configurator, they offer GLC 63s and GLC 43... that's it.

I know we didn't get the GLC63S in a normal suv, only the coupe, here in the US. I don't know what they are doing for the next year, nor in canada.
