2020 GLC 300 Coupe
I was offered just under 8% for the GLC300 Coupe (custom build), i want to lease it. Do you guys think MF .00196 is outrageous and it will come down in the coming months to the GLC300 SUV's .00092. You can get a steal on that truck right now.

if you are going to lease,

Check out (https://forum.leasehackr.com) Excellent site for leasing info on cars. Has a great calculator for leasing. There is also another calculator (http://leasewizard.us/money-factor-calculator) which figures MF, APR.

Residual value is set by MB each month and is a fixed amount. The money factor is figured on your credit score so you have a little negotiate room to negotiate. Mercedes and a few others use - MSD = multiple security deposit - as a way to reduce MF and is returned at the end of the lease. (do you on research and see if it works for you).

Well we bought it.
We did not expect to buy this car but the Manager was very good and made it clear he would work hard to get us this car, which he did.
He was professional but in a way that is very respectful, and he did not talk down to us or come off as snooty and arrogant.
His demeanor was very down to earth and easy to connect with.
We have been shopping for months for an AMG GLC 43 or a Porsche Macan S. Our preference would have been a CPO vehicle.
Being the owners of a Lexus, this has not been our first experience with upscale auto dealers. Unfortunately, outside of the Lexus brand, the luxury or near luxury car dealership experience has not been very pleasant for us.
Almost exclusively, except for this dealer, we were made to feel as if we had to pay through the nose to join the club, that we were not "good enough" to own one of these vehicles.
It seemed as if the costs were held at such a high level for the purpose of making a vehicle like this unobtainable for us. The numbers were presented in such a bizarre fashion, as if they were talking to a child!
Additionally, we are allegedly lacking the intelligence to understand the proposals were totally ridiculous.
The best price we were presented for an identical vehicle was $18000 more than what I paid at his dealership.
All of the 2018 CPOs were priced well above what we paid for a new 2019.
Forgive me if this is not appropriate in this forum, but I would like to recommend this dealership and this manager in particular.

I completely understand and agree. Over the last few weeks I have been shopping dealers with email correspondence and some have been down right condescending and unprofessional via email. I will say that it is possible to get some of the discounts possible that have been talked about in this group. I am close to finalizing my deal and thank the individuals on this thread that provided me valuable information to help me in the process.

MBZ GLC300
Have a 2020 GLC 300 4Matic on order, should be arriving Ist week in November. No deposit required, but I have leased 3 cars previously from MBZ. Looking at this thread seems like I might be able to negotiate up to an 8% off MSRP and a MF of 0.00092, is that accurate?

They're marking up the MF. Base MF is .00090.

I'm going to try and shoot for 16% off. End of the year is the best time to pick up one of these cars.

Basically you want the salesman to hand you off to the sales-manager and you hold fast on your number. The sales manager at M-B of Cantonville is Steve Travers and he will take the offer, he doesn`t mind breaking even on a GLC300 SUV as it raises his quota number allowing him to get more of the 180k convertibles like the red one in the left background of my picture, thats is where he told me he makes his money.
How close to base MF did he get you?

Even at 8% off (they will not budge on 8%), the coupe is considerably more expensive than the SUV. The .00092 is the lowest they’re offering for the SUV and with 8% off the SUV is really appealing. Side note: I was offered a 2019/2020 Macan S for $630 a month, still waiting on confirmation on year. Unless I can get 10% or more, the Mercedes coupe is just not worth it. Come on Mercedes Benz hook me up.

Mercedes Benz of Catonsville will honor 16% off. I'll be visiting them tomorrow to see how close to base MF we can get.

Looking to order a GLC. Are you saying you can get 16% off MSRP?

You *can*. Depends on if the dealership will honor it. Not sure how many more times they'll do it. I can order the exact car I want and wait two months and maybe give up the MF of .00092 or try and pick out an in stock car that's close to what I want and get the deal.

Conflicted right now.

Just another data point, was able to negotiate 14% off a GLC300 SUV build order at a nearby dealership. Car should be arriving in February

What would be the best deal or the percentage off MSRP from a dealer when ordering a customized GLC 300 ? How long does it take until the vehicle delivery? Thank you.

I live in the midwest and reached out to sales managers at these two dealers and other dealers mentioned in this thread as I'm looking to order a GLC300. Neither one will do the above discount. As a matter of fact, their discounts are not much better than I'm attaining locally just from a simple phone call. (e.g. 12% or so off, with Catonville also giving the current $1000 incentive, effectively making it 14%, although not guaranteeing whether incentive will be in tact when car arrives by end of February)

Anyone who obtained a 15 or 16% off MSRP (straight deal, no trade) willing to post paperwork (with private info blacked-out) in the thread, or perhaps PM me?

2019 GLC 300 4Matic SUV
For clarity the dealerships in question do not advertise or make it a general policy of giving a 16% off msrp discount for the asking. The way this game is played is to find an in-stock vehicle that meets your needs, take 16% off the msrp list price and email the dealer your cash offer. Do not engage with a salesman over the phone and listen to his nonsense, just make your offer and stand by it. When you are eventually handed off to the sales manager he will either accept or refuse your offer. Remember this works best if there is no trade-in or loan involved in the transaction which complicates the issue.
If you look on Edmunds.com you can see exactly how long each in-stock vehicle has physically been on the dealers lot, my glc300 was 9 days off the boat when I made my deal. If you are easily led down the primrose path by a skilled salesman or saleswoman this method is not going to work for you.
It appears that paying close to msrp is part of the mercedes buying experience and I am amazed at how proud and indigent some buyers are at happily being fleeced by a dealer, but hey someone has to pay retail.
