2020 GLC pricing

I saw an old thread discussing pricing, but wasn't sure if I should resurrect a post from 2 years ago. I wanted to see how pricing/discounts were for new 2020 GLCs. I'm looking to order one soon.

Thanks,
Adrian

I recently ordered a 2020 GLC 300, due for delivery at the end of September. The base price went up by about $1800, but several previously optional features are now standard (blind spot assist, Apple Car Play, led headlights, etc.), so it is hard to get a real read on difference over 2019. I ordered a lot of options and they seemed about the same as before.

Currently, I don't believe MB has published any incentives for the 2020, but I was assured there would be "something". The biggest incentives are naturally on current 2019 stock.

I managed to negotiate a price of $400 over invoice, minus any available incentives at time of delivery. Started off through the Cosco program, which was $1200 over invoice. The problem is, there was no hard invoice price at the time of order and we had to extrapolate from MSRP, to determine what invoice probably looked like. I'm used to buying a series of Subaru Outbacks over the last 15 years, with their VIP program which is 2% under invoice without negotiation. This was more of an old school dance on the GLC.

Basically the best you can hope for is 16% off of MSRP on a GLC 300 4matic. There are two large M-B dealers that will do this deal, M-B of Cantonville,MD and M-B of West Chester,PA

I think he is wanting price/programs on a 2020, not a 2019 as you have pictured here.

The exact same deal is available on a 2020, it is quite simple actually, find the one you want deduct 16% and that is your offer period. Do not budge or listen to the M-B salesman nonsense about how impossible that offer is for them to accept. Basically you want the salesman to hand you off to the sales-manager and you hold fast on your number. The sales manager at M-B of Cantonville is Steve Travers and he will take the offer, he doesn`t mind breaking even on a GLC300 SUV as it raises his quota number allowing him to get more of the 180k convertibles like the red one in the left background of my picture, thats is where he told me he makes his money.

So MSRP - 16% = Invoice? For some reason I thought it was 6 or 7%

2023 GLE450, 2021 E350 / Used to drive: 2019 E300, 2021 + 2020 GLE350, 2019 E450 Wagon(s), 2017 E300
My local dealer has a few very loaded 2020 GLCs in stock - they just arrived. The corporate fleet program offers $500 off on 2020 models, and I think there was more to get, but I was seeing about 5% off as about all they would do while it is a really fresh product and they are swimming in 2019s still.

I estimated invoice pricing at about 6% below MSRP, which is consistent with a couple online sources for invoice pricing on this model. I worked my way to $400 over invoice (minus any incentives) and could probably have done better, had I tried. My salesman all but laughed when I told him I was accustomed to paying below invoice on my last few cars and stated, "That won't happen with a Mercedes". With the current incentives and an association membership discount, I will be about $600 under invoice on the car. I can live with that...and get the last laugh.

Car is supposed to be at the docks in Baltimore day after tomorrow.

I ordered the wife's GLC 300 last week, most options except AMG/Leather/Nightpackage. While it wasn't 16% off, it was a little over 11%, so can't complain much. Didn't have to settle for something on the lot, got it ordered exactly how we wanted.Should be arriving mid November.

Where did you order from as I am looking to do this soon. Would love to know what options you got. I have the new pricing guide but the configurator on the MBUSA page is still showing the 2019 models.

I just started emailing dealers in the area working my way further away from me. I ended up ordering from a dealer in Atlanta. I used the dealer ordering guide from July 19 2019 which I've attached.

Polar White
Black MB-Tex
Driver Assistance Package
Parking Assistance Package
Exterior Lighting Package
Multimedia Package
Premium Package
Black Ash Center Console
18" 5-Spoke Wheels
Passenger Seat Memory
Panorama Roof
12.3" Digital Instrument Cluster
Black Fabric Headliner
Class II Trailer Hitch
Emergency Spare Wheel
Burmester Surround Sound System
Heat and Noise Insulting Front-Side Dual-Pane Glass
Inductive Wireless Charging & NFC Pairing
LED Logo Projectors
All-Season Front Floormats

Wife wanted it white, but black with night package looks awesome, still have some time to make changes to the order. The wheels I'll switch out later with 19" black wheels.

Which dealership in Atlanta because I may have to use them. I have the guide from Sept 2019 It won't let me attach because the file is to large.

Thanks exactly what I was thinking and brought up. This particular dealer or finance manager wants $5,000 non refundable. Thats a deal breaker for me.

$2500 refundable. I'm sure I could have said $1000, but it wasn't really an issue. It's refundable and there's no doubt I'm buying it when it arrives. The dealer asking for $5000 wouldn't happen to be RBM is it?

Park Place in Dallas. The sales man was busy at our appointment time. He introduced himself and had the finance manager who happened to be at the reception area do the test drive.

He wanted $5,000 non- refundable for December delivery and full sticker price. I emailed the salesman and asked for his best price will see what his response is tomorrow. Park Place has about 4 MB dealerships in the metroplex.

I'm going to use your MB of Buckhead as my baseline and If I have to I will purchase from MB of Buckhead.

Full MSRP and $5000 non-refundable? Don't even waste your time with them. Look for another MB dealer. I've bought cars up to 3 hours away before to get the price I wanted.

Being in the metroplex there are about 8-10 MB dealers within 200miles. I have visited MB of Buckhead in the past and have had a friend purchase from there many years ago.

Do you just go on the MB site and query multiple dealers? I would like to know more about your process if you are ok with me sending you a PM on here.

Come out to Tyler, I just bought (ordered) a 2020 GLC Coupe sticker price almost $65k, got it for $60k with no deposit. It was built on 8/20 delivered 9/20. Of course this is the 4th car I’ve bought from them.
Good luck
