Anyone do their own maintenance on a leased Mercedes

Anyone on here do their own maintenance on a leased Mercedes? I am a huge DIY'er, so I have all the equipment to do just about any job on the GLC, so I am sure I can handle oil/filters, brake bleeds, and cabin filter changes. Just wondering how you keep the Mercedes lease people happy when you do your own maintenance. Is it just a matter of keeping receipts for the materials used in the maintenance like other car manufacturers?

A gaggle of MB's
If you Leased a GLC here in the US - then frankly you missed the Boat - since "adding" pre-paid maintenance to the lease gets you the 2-pack or 3-pack resdualized into the lease which in essence gets Ppd your cost like 40% off.

Maybe if you don't know how to, or want to, do you own maintenance, I missed the boat. But they were asking $900 for a couple of oil changes in the "pre-paid maintenance" package. So basically you are just making yourself feel good about being ripped off because you turned that cost into monthly payments. I'll still save money doing the work myself, and I actually enjoy doing the work, and I am fortunate to be pretty darn handy.

So thanks for that, but I was looking to get DIY people with actual experience turning in Mercedes leases after doing their own maintenance to comment.

The pre-paid maintenence is more than just oil and a filter. You are welcome to do your own maintenance on the lease, not a big deal. Just need to prove you did what was required in case there is a warranty claim, save your receipts.

I enjoy DIY myself, on my 25-year-old Porsche that is long out of warranty. For my leased MBs, I like the pre-paid maintenance plan. Regardless of what anyone on a forum or a salesman may tell me, I wouldn't want to be in a position of having to prove that I had indeed done all the required maintenance, in the manner required by MB, if there was a serious warranty claim. There may also be "silent recalls" for issues that don't rise to the level of requiring a formal recall, that dealers do when the cars come in for service. And they reset the service reminder so you don't get annoying popups, along with an included car wash. There may even be some good will developed in the service department that can work in your favor.

Most of the items on these lists are inspections. I am pretty good at that.

There is cabin filter change, super easy. And a brake bleed, which is easy with my tools.

https://www.mercedesbenzofdenver.com...b-service-.htm

So really little more than a couple of oil changes.

Not worried about any double secret probation “silent recalls” on a lease vehicle.

Still interested to hear from someone that has actually DIY’d on a lease with Mercedes vs speculators on their personal experiences.

I know this is kind of off the subject, but im trying to find the best deal on a GLC300 lease. Can anyone tell me whats the normal payment for a premium1 package glc300 lease? I had one sales guy contact me and offered $1k down, $399 before fees for 36 months and 12k miles.
Im trying to get into a 2019 so it would be cheaper. I would like the payments to be below $399 is this possible?
