I've had this problem a few times now where it seems as if Sirius randomly deletes all our XM presets. It keeps the current one you're listening to and all the other FM channels on their respective presets, but all the Sirius channels are deleted. Any ideas?

This has happened once or twice before. The first time was when our trial ended, which makes sense. The second and most recent time, though, we've not let our subscription lapse and all channels work. Any ideas? This is on a '18 3004M w/ COMAND.

 

I've had the same issue a few times on a 2018 GLC43. Dealership has no clue, they act like they have never heard of anything like that.

 

Hmm, that's good to know. Thanks for sharing. I do have a Service B coming up soon, I'll ask my local dealer if they know of anything. I'll be requesting the maps update, too, and maybe any other software updates that may be available.

 

Yes this is a known problem.. it's happened to me...complain to the dealer and hopefully Mercedes does something about it.

 

Ah okay, good to know a few more people have had the issue. Have you had any software updates when normal services have been done at the dealer?

 

I've had it happen 3 times in the last 6 months. Dealer has no fix, can't duplicate the issue. I've had software updates, map update, still have the same problem.

 

What model year is your car? Wondering if this is an issue on the 2020 MBUX platform as well, or just pre-20 COMAND cars.

 

My model year is 2019. I’m not sure if it’s happening in the 2020 Mbux or not.

 

That's extremely frustrating. I wonder if it's something with Sirius and the actual tuner in the cars, rather than an issue with the car or MB itself.

 

I’m not sure but I haven’t heard of other cars having the issue. I wonder if it’s related to the option of scanning stations using presets? I haven’t tried turning that off because it kind of defeats the purpose of presets.

 

The was no issues with Sirius XM presets first 7 months owning the GLC.

now it’s happened 4 times in 3 weeks. I reset them and a few days later, only FM presets are left.

put me in the pile who have this issue.

Did anyone ever get this resolved?
