Recommendation for new tires
I will soon need to replace the tires on my 2018 GLC 4matic with 18 inch wheels. I would like to install non Run Flat tires but I’m not finding many choices out there. Does anyone have any experience with non RF 235/60-18 tires. I would like to match or exceeded the OEM Pirelli tire handling and improve the ride comfort.

I am getting closde myself, based on what i have read the Pirelli seems the better of the 2 run fl;at options (other being Continental) but still far inferior to any non-RFT
I think i am going with Michelin with the 3 year roadside which is included, just as an extra measure since there is no spare
Not sure whether Premier of Latitude or Primacy is best; haven't been able to find good info comparing the three, what little i found i'm thinking the Premier may be the way to go

The current auto issue of Consumer Reports recommends four non RF 235/60-18 tires under All Season Truck Tires:Any of these should do you well. I got the Pirelli's in November and have put 23,000 miles on them so far with no complaints.

I recently replace my GLC 350e run-flat tires, I went to Costco and replace 4 Michelin tires, it is super quiet and much more comfortable. I will never go back to run-flat because it not non-repairable, noisy, slippery in wet road.
I don't remember the model, but I believe there is only one fit for GLC at Costco.

Pirelli Scorpion Verde
The DWS06 will be a little more performance focused.
If you have a staggered setup you can go a bit wider on the rear tires as long as the outside tire diameter is very similar between front and rear tires.

After a lot of research and going back and forth, I settled on the Michelin CrossClimate Plus tires from Costco. I get them installed in a week and can report on my experience once installed. Might be worth checking out...

I recently got new tires. I ended up with Bridgestone Driveguard run flats from Costco. I, like many on here, was torn between getting run flats or non run flats. I came very close to getting Michelin Defender non run flats after all the researching, but did not want to get a spare and did not want to be stranded anywhere, so I went with the Driveguards. My original 19" Perelli's went 43K miles and could have gone to 50K (not sure why many don't get even close to that mileage). My worry with the Defenders was that I would get a poor ride, and because they are quite heavy my gas mileage would suffer. To my delight, the ride was greatly improved and the mileage did not noticeably change. I attribute some of the improved ride to new tread, but now after 7K miles it still rides nice. If I still have the GLC when it comes time to retire, I will go with the Driveguards.

I was thinking of going with Bridgestone Drive Guards but they are not available in the 235/60 18 size. I don’t know how big a difference the 235/55 18inch would make that they are available in.

I switched from worn out Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season Run Flat tires to the Michelin CrossClimate SUV tires six months ago. I'm very happy with the switch. The Pirellis were rough riding and noisy (perhaps partly due to being worn out)...making the woop...woop...woop sound on pavement. After the switch, wow.... total silence in the cabin. Will put a smile on your face. The road joints are not as noticeable, either (less bumpy). Mine are 18" like the OP's.
OP - Let us know what you think after you get them mounted.

If you aren't driving in cold weather or already have dedicated winter tires, you can't beat the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV for handling. They have a soft compound but stiffer sidewalls for better performance in wet or dry conditions. Otherwise, the Michelin Crossclimate SUV has the winter tire three peak winter stamp with all season performance. Tire rack says they're a bit louder than the competition but performance wise they can't be beat for an all season tire that will be driven in snow. Supposedly the new Pirelli Scorpion Verde All season Plus 2 (non run flat) are a nice improvement all around.

Keep us post on the Michelin Cross Climate since this type tire is the latest in that it meet winter snow requirement and can be used all year around. Im thinking about them for my next set of tires.

Looking to replace my Pirelli's (worn out completely after 30k miles) on my GLC300 (18"). Planning on buying non run flats Michelin's at Costco with the $150 off till June 11th. Only issue is I have no idea which is best to get. Primacy vs Latitude vs CrossClimate vs Premier LTX? Tried to do a lot of research and still can't tell. Not much out there that compares the tires.
Anyone have experience with various Michelin's and have a recommendation? I'm in Massachusetts so we get decent snow during the Winter. Thanks

Well I have had the CrossClimate tires for a couple months, and due to Covid, have not driven too much. However, I noticed immediately a MUCH smoother and quieter drive. I have taken a longer trip (160 miles) and was amazed how well the car handled and the smooth ride. I never realized how much the runflat tires ruined how nice of a ride the car gives. The only other test is in the snow, so I will report back when I have a chance to test. With what I know now, I would definitely recommend these tires.

I'm ordering the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV after further research shows they made comfort optimizations in the SUV line. If anyone is interested in a set of factory run-flat 235/55/19" Continental CrossContact LX Sport SSR with 1000 miles on them for half price in Southern California (LA/OC) or Central Connecticut let me know. Car was built in January of this year.

I now have my retro spare tire bundle in place... so when my factory Run flats crap out I'm seriously looking the Bridgestone Ecopia H/L 422 Plus... My local Costco has them and they regularly go on sale... good reviews good tread life.

Just did my first set on the wife's GLC at 16.5k miles (she may be a bit of an aggressive driver), I went back with the Pirelli scorpion Verde but in a non-runflat. Lighter tires, should be more economical and seem smoother so far, will see how they wear comparatively. I have the AMG line 19" wheels, the 235/55/19 is also an OEM Jag/Rover tire so I got a pretty good deal on them at work.

I have a full set of the OEM tires from my 2018 GLC 63 for sale. I swapped these summer tires for all season. They are posted on Craig's List at a very reasonable price. I'm in Laurel, MD.
