Just did the 4th year oil change. Found that there is an easy way to check oil level:
Bring up the "Workshop" menu and start the engine, go to "Vehicle Data", it will show something like this:
- Oil Level: 5.6 L
- Oil Temp: 20 C
- For Maximum Oil Level, Add 0.3 l Engine Oil
I guess that makes sense, but in reality, there are probably more emissions created when an electronic system is developed and built to reduce what a good sealed dip stick might ever create.
Added a Fumoto valve to make oil changes even quicker. Just flip the lever. The hose and quick connect makes cleanup breeze. Oil goes straight into recycling container. The passenger side is on a jack stand so all of the oil is drained out of the pan. Fumoto F106N with adapter ADP-106
Fumoto is safe from being hit because of underbody shield.
Jack the front, install Jack stand on passenger side and lower the jack before going under the vehicle to work.
Elimination of the dipstick for emissions? That is the stupidest reason I've ever heard. Who in the hell comes up with this s**t. The dipstick on my 2019 has an o-ring on it to prevent vapors from coming out and covering everything. Wait until these electronic systems screw up an your engine blows up. They can't say "you didn't check your oil" because there is no way to. And no, it doesn't make sense. My 2015 Audi Q5 TDI had the sensor and the oil dipstick tube, so I just had to buy a dipstick to check it. They don't want the end user to have the ability to be able to check anything anymore.

That's a given it's the EPA. But really, the dipstick tube? What about the oil fill cap? I take that off in between oil changes also to check for smoo, especially in the winter. Guess that'll be going away soon also. I wonder if they ride Big Wheels to work? You younger folk will have to Google that one.
The primary reason I miss the dipstick tube is not being able to evacuate the oil using my Mityvac. It practically allowed topside oil changes. No going underneath. Oil changes were under 30 minutes and 1 sheet of paper towel.
