Wrapping and dipping were the processes I couldn’t think of. I didn’t even know that was a “thing” until I read about members doing that on this forum. Sounds like the route you went should hold up nicely. And you got EXACTLY what you wanted, so that’s the important thing.
I was alluding to the LONG discussion about why the HANDS FREE toe kick wasn’t working on your car in another thread you started when I mentioned knowing what features were on my car. I guess it’s easy to assume certain features are standard (particularly something like parking sensors), and I was just surprised at all the effort expended discussing the toe kick thing. So that’s what my comment about “Research” was referring to. I probably shouldn’t have even mentioned that in the context of you wanting to customize certain aspects of your car.

No problem. I understand. With the other post I had on opening the trunk with kicking motion, I was told originally from the dealer it was standard. I tried and tried and couldn't get it to work. I then emailed another person at the shop and they told me it was not included in my package. Would've liked to have had it, but not a big deal. I'm more than fine without it.

Some future mods I might do in your place:
1. Swap headliner out for a black one ( know you had a problem with the vanities).
2. Get your exhaust tips done in black after getting the amg 4 tip exhaust.
3. Delete glc 300 badge and 4matic badges
4. Enjoy

Good point on the headliner. I wanted black, but the one I found in all of US that had all features I wanted had the grey. I wonder what the price is to get headliner switched out?
I'm fine with the current exhaust and badges. I don't mind those.

K. Did my research. Headliner itself is really hard to find. I would suggest you buy black fabric paint instead and DIY your headliner. It is especially difficult to find ones for my20 as it is a new refresh. I saw one for about 900 bucks for 2016 2017 2018.

Man, I would think painting the headliner black would be a tough job! I'd definitely need to drop the headliner first and from what I've heard that's not an easy task. I'll research and see whose done it before and how it looks.

After looking at those AMG exhaust tips, I'm sold! I really like those. Didn't know those were a mod option. It looks like they already come in black, so wouldn't need to paint over chrome.

Yeah, it is a tough job. I thought you might like the AMG exhaust tips. Here to help in case you need me. I'm available tommorow to post.
I had just one concern with the amg and stock, they are fake. Can't wait to see your new mods.

Hey, OP I don't know if this helps but this is my current set-up. Black 2019 GLC with window tint all around and gloss black powder coated 19" AMG wheels. Silver calipers don't look as bad as I thought they might but I'll be getting my calipers powder coated to yellow although I'm still debating on the color. Torn between yellow/blue as I already had red on my previous car and I think I'm over it.

p.s. totally of topic does anyone know if 2020 and 2019 have switchable front grill? I'm looking to have mine replaced by AMG style 2020 all black grill.

Your wheels look good. I like the silver calipers. Instead of coating, have you thought about getting covers? I'm thinking now if I want silver with black engraving or black with silver engravings. Tough decisions..

Here's what mine looks like tonight after I washed. 20% tint all around and 50% windshield. I already mentioned the window chrome, roof racks and handles painted black as well as coated wheels in gloss.

I called the dealership just now for the part number for the AMG 4 tip exhaust. Unfortunately, he said the only way to do it is to replace the entire bumper. So it sounds like this isn't going to be an option. But I have seen on eBay and Amazon there are gloss black AMG style covers that go over the existing tips. Not sure how they would hold up through all of the elements since they are being held on only by adhesive.

That's sad KCSam. Adhesives suck and you'll probably have lost it in the road somewhere. If you have pano roof, I wouldn't suggest replacing the headliner. I don't, so not sure how it is set up.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. I read some reviewers say that theirs fell off the next day or a few days/weeks later.

I do have the pano roof. I've already come to the realization that replacing the headliner isn't something I'm going to do. It's just not worth the money. Assuming that it would cost A LOT.

KCSam, know this sounds strange, but I actually think a silver might be nice. But black is nice too ya know.

I know. It's tough. Not sure if I should go with black with silver engraving, or silver with black engraving. I wish I could see some examples of what it would look like, but I can't seem to find any examples.

I read ya. I like istupars it looks a lot like yours. But you might wanna do black, or just have mercedes Benz engraved on your oem calipers. They're silver.

I think istupars looks really nice. Maybe you might go with silver. The black I have not seen before. Maybe that one is more risky because you don't know the turnout.

Do you like gunmetal grey for calipers? That might be nice.
