I called the dealership just now for the part number for the AMG 4 tip exhaust. Unfortunately, he said the only way to do it is to replace the entire bumper. So it sounds like this isn't going to be an option. But I have seen on eBay and Amazon there are gloss black AMG style covers that go over the existing tips. Not sure how they would hold up through all of the elements since they are being held on only by adhesive.
1. Buy adhesive amg 4 tip exhaust.
2. Go to wherever you get duck tape.
3. But a role of black or clear tape.
4. Install adhesive exhaust.
5. Tape around the exhaust.
6. Enjoy

No, I didn't switch out. They came that way. I'm assuming all '20s do? Not sure though.

The problem with that is you would see the duct tape around the tips. I'm not sure how you would hide that. And after all of the elements here in MO (100 degree temps in summer, rain and -5 degrees with snow and ice in winter) I don't think the tape would hold up at all. I'd be better off putting on some Gorilla Glue inside the tips prior to sticking to exhaust. I think that actually may work instead of using the adhesive they send out.

Same question here for me. Last year, the same 19s came on scorpion verdes 235 55 r19. Can anybody with my20 confirm that you get conti cross contact sport

Well, the glue would be inside the new tips and fitting atop the existing tips (I think that's how they attach). If so, then the glue itself wouldn't come into contact with any of the elements. It should stick on there for good. I've never seen anyone who's added these before, so I'd be curious to see how they physically look. I'm afraid some of the chrome may show through on edges.

Those won't fit mine. I can see the chrome through the new tips. I'm not sure I want to go that route. I guess I could just keep current setup and get mine painted or coated. Or pay the $3k and get all new AMG style back-end.
