Creak and Popping Noise in HVAC Vent
Hi Everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has experience a creaking or popping noise from the center console vents. It would happen every time I come to a stop or accelerate from a light. I was waiting until my oil change to have it looked at and of course the noise doesn't happen anymore and literally stopped as I was on the phone making a service appointment. The good or bad thing is that the noise will still happen when I hit the recirculate button. I know hearing the vent baffles move is normal, but this sounds like a popping as the vent is opening and then once it stops the noise is similar to a marble dropping.
Any thoughts?

Hi, I’m having the same issue with mine (exact same model as yours), took it to the dealership for every single service and though they always clean the AC system, the sound always come back with no apparent reason. Did you solve the issue? Did they tell you what the problem was? Any information might be useful for me the next time I visit the dealership. Thanks!

I don't know how to describe it. I heard the weird sound every time whenever I turn off the ignition. Half a minute after this weird sound coming from the vent and sound like something is crawling inside and then rewinding. Very weird sound. Any idea what it is?

Yeah, I have that noise too. It sounds like a computer hard drive performing a seek or a buzzing noise. It only lasts for 30-60 seconds at a time. Kinda annoying, but do you plan to go into the dealer anytime soon to have them look at it. I am due for service so I think I’ll mention it to them.
