12.3" Digital Instrument Cluster and 10.25" Touchscreen Multimedia Display Standard?

Taking delivery of a 2021 GLC300 next week and I'm curious if the 12.3 Digital instrument cluster is standard equipment? It looks like a $750 option when I build one online but I see in other places including this forum that its standard. My dealer has assured me its standard so I'm not sure.

Thanks in advance.

In the US, the 10.25" touchscreen is standard. The 12.3" digital instrument panel is "available". I presume that means it's not standard.

Thank you. Yes, Sadly thats what I've found. Would love to have gotten the option if supply wasn't so tight right now. I feel lucky we got the color my wife wanted with most of the options we wanted.

I researched both before I bought and didn't see the benefit in the 12.3" panel to justify the cost. Plus, like you, it wasn't readily available on the color I wanted.

It looks really cool in person but I'm not sure it adds that much in functionality. We've been waiting a month to take delivery. Hopefully early next week.

Perhaps if you go into customizing the digital screens in terms of information displayed, it's functionality may be more apparent. For example, I like the turn by turn info in the middle when using route guidance so I simply look down to confirm distance to next turn instead of shifting my head over to the nav display for a quick check. It's not a substitute but handy. Of course the aesthetics of the cluster is customized to my preference in style and color. I believe it blends better than analog gauge.

Good point on the navigation. That would be really nice to see things in the cluster directly in front of me. We did get navigation so I wonder how that will be displayed with standard gauges? We have a loaner with the digital cluster and it is really gorgeous.

When the 2021 updates were first released last year, they initially would be standard, and I believe most of the early builds (and certainly most of them in general) have them. It’s a shame yours won’t have it. It’s not huge, but it is pretty nice.

Ok, that makes sense. My salesman was sure it was standard but then it turned out not to be. I also found a link at MBUSA.COM that highlighted new standard features for 2021 and the digital cluster was standard. Hopefully we will be picking up ours tomorrow and I will know for sure if ours has it or lot. Also on a side note. We took a rock to windshield last night and I only noticed this morning that it cracked the windshield on the loner GLC we are driving. UGH.

Unfortunately, if you didn't order it, it's probably not on the car. I saw the same announcement of the new standard equipment listing the digital cluster for 2021, which annoyed me since I had to drive almost 150 miles to find my 2020 with the digital cluster in Brilliant Blue (and only like 20% of the cars around me had it).

I walked around my local dealer dealer a few months ago when I went in for my service, and found a couple of 2021s that didn't have it. So when I came home, I tried to build a new 2021 and found it was still an option...

We finally took delivery this week. No digital cluster which I was expecting to be the case after to chatting with everyone on this forum. Thanks to everyone for the information.

Still love the car, especially the drive! We had driven a Lexus RX 350 for 9 years which was flawless mechanically but not very fun to drive.
